Payne's Harbor View Inn

Excellent stay Carmen, Kevin, family and staff were very accommodating and friendly. Our room had a lovely view of the Harbor and a nice little deck. Option to have open windows or AC on the cool fall evenings. An easy walk downtown to local shops and restaurants. While easy access to local cabs. Daily breakfast was served with fresh coffee and juice.

Beautiful inn, our hosts were very friendly and inviting. The location is central to all the places we wanted to visit on bikes. Rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Amazing views off the deck and lawn overlooking the cove. Breakfast was just enough and we enjoyed coffee, tea and afternoon cookies. Already looking to visit again next year and take some family members.

The room was one of the biggest rooms we've had on the island ! Also having a private deck to sit outside and relax and enjoy the view was great! Everyone at Paynes were so friendly, helpful and welcoming . And need to mention the amazing cookies and donuts !! So good !

This was our third time at Payne's Harbor View Inn, and it was just as lovely and quiet as previous experiences. Chose a different room this year, Room 2 with a little balcony. The Location is within walking distance of everything and that is why we like it as well as the breakfast every morning and the friendliness of everyone associated with this Inn. The weather however was not the best week, and the ferry was cancelled due to winds but we were able to get another ferry earlier the next day.

We had a great experience at Payne's Harbor View Inn. My husband and I stayed in a room with our teenage boys. The Inn is very welcoming. They provide chairs, beach towels, cold water, breakfast on top of a great location. We had parking and felt like we could walk to the beach, bars, coffee, downtown.... They were available when you needed something but did not hover. I would definitely go back in the future!
