Our stay was great all around. All staff members were very friendly, attentive and truly made our stay 5 stars!! Totiyanna at the front desk and the two ABSOLUTELY wonderful women, that I unfortunately forgot to get their names at Breakfast (they are the main reason for this review. They ABSOLUTELY deserve recognition for thier 5 star service as well. Thank you all for a truly wonderful stay!

As a Hilton Honors member, of course I chose this hotel as my lodging choice for the week while in Rhode Island. Another reason for picking this property, it was also and still is the #2 ranked hotel by TA in Middletown. The King Bed Studio Suite room was plenty big enough for my four night solo stay. It came equipped with a complete kitchen that included a full-sized refrigerator, two-burner cook top, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, sink, and microwave. I didn't use any of it. The bed was comfy and I had no problems going to sleep each night. There was a mounted TV that I did use by watching the Halloween marathon of the Final Destination films amongst other things. I also used the work desk with complimentary Wi-Fi. There was a sofa bed, dresser, two nightstands, dining table, and more. All the lights were in working order. Everything was clean, including the well-stocked, large bathroom with provided Zero% bath amenities. This hotel also offered complimentary breakfast which I didn't take advantage of. There were also meeting rooms, a business center, full fitness room, indoor pool, and FREE parking. They hold evening socials on Wednesdays with complimentary beer and wine for their guests. I didn't have a Do Not Disturb sign in my room so I went to the front desk and obtained one to use on my room's door. This is something that I automatically do when I first get there and I'm happy to leave it hanging on the hallway side of the door for the entire time of my stay.

We were in town for a family wedding and had reserved three rooms/suites for the weekend. I have to say that it was the best hotel experience our family has had in years. From the welcoming check in on friday, Nov. 1st to the checkout on sunday morning it was an excellent stay. The staff at the hotel are super efficient and friendly. The breakfast buffet was really good, especially the coffee! As per usual at hotels, I knew to asks for gluten free bread/bagels and the kitchen staff was very helpful with my request. Overall, the hotel is super clean and our rooms/suites were so clean we thought it was a new hotel. The location was perfect and the nice part was that the building sits back from the road so that it is really quiet at night for sleeping. Our adult children were also very pleased with their rooms as well. On Sunday morning over breakfast with family friends we started discussing coming back to the area again for a girls trip and you know where we will be staying! I don't usually submit reviews for hotels but this one was outstanding and well worth coming back to. Whatever the management is doing -keep it up! We had a very busy weekend with travel out of state and the wedding activities which unfortunately kept us from trying out the gym and pool due to time constraints so I cannot review those parts of the hotel. I can say that we noticed the gym is well stocked with weights and equipment (as our family uses gyms at home I feel that we our assessment of that area is well qualified.

We stayed in one of the 2 room suites. They were nice and roomy. Our room had a tub instead of a walk-in shower. I prefer a walk in shower for safety. The AC worked well. Parking was plentiful. The location in town was good and it was an easy drive to Newport. There was space to put 2 suitcases. Overall the room was very nice. Breakfast was poor. All the warm foods were Luke-warm to cold. (bacon, eggs, oatmeal) The cold items were lukewarm ( milk and orange juice). Milk was not replenished and I had to go without. My husband shared with me. The hot water for tea was not hot. The container that holds the hot water was at one time used for coffee. That container is now ruined for tea drinkers. The coffee flavor has penetrated the walls of the container and my tea tasted like coffee. You need to purchase a new container and use it only for hot water. Not everyone is a coffee drinker! The price for the room is much better than staying in Newport. There are several restaurants close by.

This hotel is quite convenient for visiting Newport since there's plenty of free parking, and it's an easy trip to Newport. The staff are very friendly, with a special shout-out for one of the front desk clerks, Totiyanna. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Two major negatives, though. One was that my side of the bed had NO electrical outlets nor USB ports available, so I had to unplug the bedside lamp just to plug in my CPAP, and this left no room for charging my iPhone. The second was that the hot water took several minutes to get warm, and even then the temperature was still lukewarm, barely OK for showering. The breakfasts were great, with ample time from 6 AM to 10 AM. I felt it a bit bizarre that they advertised and evening reception, but they only have it one day a week (Wednesday). Why bother if you're only going to have it one day a week (we stayed from a Sunday evening to a Wednesday morning)? Overall we were quite satisfied, but wish they would fix their plumbing and electrical outlet situations.
