Hampton Inn & Suites York South

I stay in a lot of Hamptons and when one of them shines over the rest thats quite a statement. The staff is super friendly and extra attentive. I've stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed. I cannot think of one negative. Look no further in the York area!!!!

Clean and comfortable. Soft bed and pillows. Friendly staff. Housekeeping is by request only so we requested daily clean towels that were never delivered. It was difficult to track down housekeeping to get clean towels as they stated to be short staffed. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all in large bottles attached to the walls which I hate because it is unsanitary. We stayed here just shy of one week. Breakfast was sub par. Dry Scrambled eggs every day, with chicken sausage and spicy potatoes, waffles, toast, occasional cut up fresh fruit in a sickening sweet syrup. Good dishes were kept full but the breakfast lady starts putting food away at 9:40–breakfast goes from 6–10. Not sure if we’d stay there again.

This hotel is conveniently located just off Route 83, without any noise from the freeway. It's in a business park which also has a gas station, a bar type restaurant, an IHOP and a Chinese restaurant which is really a to-go but does have a few tables. Plenty of free parking on every side of the hotel. The staff are pleasant. Typical Hampton Inn - you know what you're getting. All parts of the hotel were clean. I appreciate that Hampton Inns are now providing housekeeping service every other day - thank you. I still think it should go back to daily, as it was pre-pandemic, but at least this is a step in the right direction. Breakfast was good - plenty of choice of both hot and cold items. And help yourself coffee in the lobby 24/7. A suggestion for the staff though. At the lobby coffee station, you have the small capsules of creamer. Why don't you just put those in the guest rooms instead of those stupid packs of one sugar and one dry creamer which mean that anyone who wants more than one in their coffee has to open multiple packs.

Very nice hotel. Newly renovated, clean, pleasant staff, excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds and the newly redesigned bathroom was lovely. It’s located a short walk from Primanti Brothers restaurant. While I only stayed overnight, it was A+.

We stayed here for one night as we traveled to NJ. The hotel was newly remodeled at the start of th year. Very very clean. Staff were very friendly. Beds and sofa bed we comfortable. Loved the provided shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Breakfast was fantastic...oatmeal with toppings, waffle bar with a variety of toppings, toast, muffins, bagels and scones, variety of whole fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon and roasted seasoned potatoes! Well worth the price. The pool was also nice.
