Budget Host Inn Somerset

Clean place, reasonably priced, which is what we needed. Right next door to the Summit Diner, which has good coffee and pie, but the place is still quiet at night for a good sleep. Pine Grill across the street also has good food. The couple who run the motel were friendly and got us extra blankets and pillows when we asked.

There are many accommodation options in Somerset, and we've stayed at several over the years. We decided this time to stay two nights at the Budget Host because we wanted to enjoy breakfast each morning at the Summit Diner next door. The room was not fancy but met our needs, with a comfortable bed for two weary travelers and a room price that didn't bust the budget. There was no issue with cleanliness, and the innkeeper provided an iron when we asked. There are more than a half dozen restaurants within easy walking distance, a convenience store across the street, and easy access to the PA Turnpike.

The room was clean, carpet was very clean. Beds were comfy, pillows were very nice. Shower head was adjustable to all different heights. We had 2 full size beds and very clean. 2 rooms have 4 full size beds wow! Best $70.00 I ever spent on a room. Owners have had this for 25+ years. Very kind people. Thank you.

This Budget Host Inn has everything you need—it’s clean, the beds are comfortable, it’s a convenient location near both the highway and food, and the refrigerator has a freezer! What more do you need?

What a gem! The weather got really bad so I pulled off the freeway in Somerset PA looking for an economical place to stay the night, and this Budget Host Inn is super impressive! It seems to be newly renovated, the carpet, bedspread and even the walls are nicely decorated, the blackout curtains actually work so I could get a good night’s rest, and there’s even a bathroom heater which I wish I had in my house. The cleanliness is unbeatable for a motel in this (or any) price range. Highly recommended!
