We were just passing through for the night. I wasn't impressed. The staff were great and so nice. I'm just not sure if maybe the company doesn't want to invest in this hotel. There were no curtains. Just a see through shade so no one really got any sleep. No sheets in the room for the pull out sofa bed. I just felt like resources were scarce. Breakfast was good and staff was nice. Things seemed overall clean.

Clean room; comfortable king bed; equipped with all standard bathroom amenities. Nice blackout curtains given that we were located on the 1st fl. Breakfast included but shuts down at 9:30. Check-in/out were very convenient. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was modern and clean, however I won't be back. I was in town visiting a large manufacturing facility in nearby Lewistown. When I went to do my expenses, this IHG property doesn't list the receipts on the online profile, so the only way to get it is to reach back out to the hotel. Also, disappointed to find that they don't do a special rate for the factory. You are better off driving the extra few miles to State College.

We had changed to this being our go to hotel for the area. The others are getting run down and dirty. This one is fairly new. Morning meal is terrible we would go down and then go somewhere else. TV channels are lacking. Bed is comfortable but bedding is too heavy. Now this time we were coming for family reunion and my doctor advised I not travel because of a condition on my leg/foot. We called Thursday morning to alert them of my cancellation for Friday afternoon. Near as I can tell they are going to charge me for one day stay of a two day reservation. I have never in 40 years of travel had this occur. Owner was not helpful at all. I seem to need a Hilton in the area for future travels here.

Various members of our family met in the area to celebrate my Mom's 90th birthday. My sister had selected this hotel for all of us traveling out of town to stay here. The positives are this hotel is fairly new, safe, the rooms are clean, and it is in a good location for many area sites by car. And, let me also note the people who worked there were very nice. The negatives are this hotel is right in the middle of a neighborhood. There is nothing around it that you can walk to. The free breakfast is marginal at best. The "warm" foods were premade and just warmed up, not made fresh. And, I get so annoyed when cold cereal is in one of those containers where you twist the knob at the bottom, and your cereal comes out all smashed up in crumbs. There was nothing in the room like a pad and pencil, an alarm clock, or even complimentary water. They expect you to use the TV for everything such as setting an alarm...I am not a tech guru, and it would be nice if they had a simple guide on how to use the television! We called the front desk and the kind lady admitted she had no idea on how the TV worked. Finally, their advertised rate of $169 per night turns into $227 by the time taxes and fees are added. So, for some this might be perfect for you, but I think it is overpriced for what you get. But I again want to note friendly and safe place.
