Extended Stay America Suites Pittsburgh Airport

For a budget hotel, this was rather standard, although maybe a little dated. Nothing fancy, and nothing bad. It did have a few issues, and if you have the budget to go 10-15% higher in rates, then that would be my overall recommendation. The kitchenette does not come stocked with dishes, pans, glassware, etc., and you have to get those items the front desk. There is no daily cleaning and you have to coordinate that with the front desk Pros: - Nice kitchenette with full size refrigerator - Not a lot, but decent space to unpack your luggage for a long stay - Decent place overall Cons: - Spotty, and unsecured, Wifi - No USB charging ports (a bit dated on the furnishings) - Room cleaning left something to be desired (trash was not emptied from the previous occupant, still some clothes from the previous occupant hanging in the bathroom) - What can only be described as a stale smell in the room. Not overpowering, but noticeable

There was no toilet paper there’s not even a toilet paper dispenser when I went down in the middle of the night because I needed to use the restroom. I told that I only get one roll of toilet paper. I told them I had only been here today, and I had not used a full roll of toilet paper, they said I would have to come back down at 11 AM. There is no front desk at the front desk There is a phone number. And if they answer, they will let you know when they will get to you. I’ve been here one day less than one day. There is nothing in walking distance, except for a sex shop.

Wow, what a disappointment! Am a repeat visitor to this area and did not think there would be a hotel of this quality in the neighborhood. We evidently arrived at a bad time when the lobby stunk and the room had a strong chemical smell from cleaning. A few hours of open window and bath vent on cleared the air in the room. The shower is jammed on with no chance to draw a bath and enjoy a planned soak in salts. Lifting the bath drain plug the whole plug and rim come up to reveal some mold underneath. The staff was the saving grace. They seem to have a natural friendliness and wecoming that goes beyond business friendly but is not intrusive, a wonderful balance. We would stay here again, but not as a first choice. Carpet is frayed with dust and dirt along the edges. A renovation is overdue. Again, this is a revised review, composed after departure and after the management had responded to the first review. I could not edit the original (too severe) review, so will delete it and submit this revised one.

Where to even begin.. there was trash everywhere inside and around the premises. Dimly lit hallways and dirty carpet. The pull out couch mattress in our room had blood stains all over it. Felt extremely unsafe and sketchy. Overheard a full on domestic dispute from our neighbors upstairs. Price was outrageous for the living conditions. The GM was very nice and helpful but other than that this was an overall terrible experience. Would never recommend staying here.

Everything was fine. Nothing unbearable. Good location close to many shops and food options. Clean bed, clean bathroom, decent little kitchen area, and the WiFi was great to be able to work from. The clientele was very interesting but I suspect that is the norm for many places like this. The staff was all very nice and accommodating.
