Days Inn by Wyndham Harrisburg North

Economical, convenient to downtown. Not a lot of amenities, rooms were dated but clean, plenty hot water friendly staff. Fine for overnight business trip. Also convenient to Rt 81 if traveling. Only coffee and juice available for breakfast after 7am, but restaurant down the street.

This Disgusting Hotel needs to lose the name "Days Inn by Wyndham"! We were checked in to a filthy room that had not even been touched by the maid service. There was no soap, there were no towels. The smoke detector had been disabled and was in pieces. The floors were scummy, the TV and pictures had been wiped down with an apparently greasy rag? A room near us had roaches so the couple had to relocate with their small child. Most of the other residents appeared to be chain smokers and there was doggie doo doo on the stairs, sidewalk and in the parking lot. Clothing and trash were scattered over the outdoor area. Dirty towels and trash cans, even a chair cushion were lining the balcony outside of most of the rooms. We slept on used sheets without knowing it until the next day when we found chicken bones in the wastebin!! THE OWNER REFUSED TO GIVE US ANY REFUND FOR CHECKING US INTO A USED AND FILTHY ROOM. The only positive is the night desk clerks, Dominic and Arian, were SUPER nice and friendly and tried hard to help us. Part-time manager Anthony was funny and helpful and got us a whole set of new sheets and blankets (we had a pet with us so requested the maids not enter the room to clean it up). The current long-term guests are very untidy and all seem to smoke in their rooms and throw trash on the ground and balconies......

Have been going to this place for almost 30 years every time I attend the Great Outdoor Show. Wow, has it gone downhill in the past 2 years. Check-in for my group of 5 took almost an hour. No longer offering free breakfast, No towels in the bathroom, had to ask for them. I have better rags in my barn compared to the towels that I did receive. Rooms and exterior grounds very unclean and not maintained. Kids running amok all day and night. Glad that I was only there for one night which will have been my last.

Not one of the best places to stay at. Had kids running all over the parking lot. People were actually smoking pot. Fitness center dirty, stank and the treadmill did not work. Elevator was actually stinky, too. Had garbage overflowing everywhere and the parking lot had garbage all over.

How can you offer free breakfast when you have nothing l. No food so stop offering, people coming off the road need to know this.
