Quality Inn Gettysburg Battlefield

Close to sites and walkable to several restaurants. Room was clean and spacious and front desk was helpful. Breakfast is free and had a nice variety. The bed was a little hard for my preference but we walked so much I didn't have any issues sleeping!

The location of this hotel is quite convenient, with several sights and numerous restaurants within walking distance. Our beds were comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. The service was friendly. Bar or cocktail lounge onsite is nice. Indoor and outdoor pool. Breakfast is included in the breakfast cottag; it is imited in scope but ok. Wifi worked well. Microwave and small fridge in room. We would stay here again if in the area. Very good value.

We stayed a couple nights for the Gettysburg Christmas Festival and we were very pleased with our stay. We did experience a small glitch with no hot water and lack of heat, which the front desk took care of while we were out enjoying the Festival. The staff, from check-in, Hannah, to check-out, Destiny, were friendly, helpful and very courteous. Our room was clean and comfortable. When we back in Gettysburg we will definitely return to his hotel. 🙏

I am a Diamond member of the Quality In / Comfort Inn chain. I wat at this location on 10/9/24. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I feel sound asleep around 10:30 as I had to be up at 6:00. At 12:10 PM the phone in the room started to ring. I answered it and was told there was a mandatory meeting to go to. I said I was a guest and hung up. I had a hard time getting back to sleep. In the morning, I reported this to the guy at the front desk and all he did weas say " I am new here". I asked if other guests could call the room he said no, so I said then it was an employee? I did not get a response and was not offered anything to assure me it would not happen again.

The Quality Inn was a good place to stay. Considering it is in the heart of the more touristy section of Gettysburg, it was reasonably priced, about $150 per night. We stayed in late September. I would definitely stay here again. I thought it a good value for my money. The motel has indoor and outdoor pools and an exercise room, but we didn’t use those so I exclude them from my review. Here are some pros and cons. PROS Location. The motel is within easy walking distance of several food places of varying price, including fast food & ice cream, also souvenir shops, the battlefield bus tour, some museums, the National Cemetery and The Dobbin House, Gettysburg’s best restaurant. Staff. Check-in/check-out was seamless and the front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. Parking. We had a ground floor corner room. I especially liked that the parking spaces were numbered to our room and we could park right in front of our door. Cleanliness. The room and bathroom were really clean. I compliment the housekeeping staff. Space. The room was larger than I expected and was equipped with a small microwave, refrigerator, tv and coffee machine. The carpet was in good shape. We had two queen beds and they were very comfortable with soft sheets and ample pillows. The AC worked well. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom, and a hair dryer. The water was hot and there was good water pressure. There’s no closet, but the room did have an area to hang up our coats and good clothes. There was a dresser with drawers for more storage. There were ample outlets and USB ports to charge our devices. Breakfast. The Breakfast Cottage was very nice. The food was your typical “free” hotel food. Nothing notable. If it’s not your style, there’s a Friendly’s close by. CONS Location. If you have a room towards the road, be aware that you will hear traffic noise. Space. The bathroom was very small, and badly in need of renovation. It’s why I didn’t give this motel five stars. Yellow tile, some of which were cracked, including the sink. A little bit of peeling wallpaper. There was very little counter space for toiletries. There was no safety bar in the tub/shower but there was a non-slip mat in the tub. The tv was small for the size of the room.
