Tru By Hilton Chambersburg PA

We stayed here for 1 night while on the way to our destination. The rooms were nice and breakfast was standard. It was kind of crowded for the area but no issues, enough parking and no vehicles were broken into that I was aware of. Would stay again if in the area.

Everything was so clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Karen and Collin were attentive and polite. The breakfast was delicious. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. We will definitely be coming back anytime we find ourselves in Chambersburg.

We have stayed at quite a few Tru hotels and like them. We stayed here at Chambersburg before and found it clean and comfortable. At that time we didn't stay for breakfast because the place was very crowded with rescue workers for some floods but the breakfast looked good. This time at a Tru we had a different experience. The room wasn't quite as clean or straightened the way a room usually is. Also the hotel is at a very busy intersection and on the other side is the highway, both very noisy, especially the highway in the middle of the night. We did not get the best sleep. Then at breakfast there were a few surprises. The wonderful waffle makers they used to have were gone. In their place was a machine that made little pancakes. Great, I'll try one. Unfortunately the pancakes were a nice brown on one side but wet and uncooked on the other. Okay, we'll have eggs - except they had little hard things they called omelets. No fresh scrambled eggs. Okay, we'll have toast - except the machine only burned the toast and they had no butter, only some kind of fake spread. Okay, we'll have a cup of coffee - except they had no cream or half-and-half, only some fake stuff that I didn't know they made anymore. We gave up and went for breakfast elsewhere. As we checked out, the lady at the desk asked us how the stay was. We mentioned that our clock radio alarm went off at 3:00 am. She laughed and said, that happens. No that does not happen if your housekeepers check things when guests leave. We'll likely stay at other Tru hotels but not the one in Chambersburg.

Once again, a Tru by Hilton top notch employee at the desk that any employer would be proud to have - Katy. Gracious and efficient . This is our 3rd Tru by Hilton visit. This branding works perfectly for us. A fun and functional environment. A comfortable lobby to hang and/or get some work done in the privacy of an individual cubicle. 24 hour gym. An expanse of snacks and beers, wine and cocktail mixers. EV charging stations. Dog friendly, Comfortable rooms. Good lighting. A tv that works and is channel finding user friendly. Plenty of charging outlets, flat spaces for storage, a good size, well equipped bathroom shower area.

We accidentally came across this hotel when trying to book at a different location. The other Hilton was booked so the friendly staff found us a room at this location and we are beyond grateful. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile. The hotel is very beautiful and clean and especially family friendly. Breakfast is complimentary with many options. If you forgot to bring soap, shampoo, conditioner or lotion, no worries the rooms have dispensers placed in the hotel room bathrooms. Too bad we only stayed for one night, since this hotel was great for our family of four, on a road trip to Pittsburgh.
