Larkspur Landing Carlisle

Our stay here was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Breakfast was good. Parking was easy and well lit. Only complaint is there was no fan in the bathroom so it got steamy quick. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend

This hotel is a shining beacon of example to other hotels as to how to make your hotel a fantastic place to stay and a place you would want to stay again. We choce it at random, largely because of its interstate accessibility. But ... from the welcome on arrival, the provision of coffee and cookies, the staff atm breakfast were so helpful, cheerful and refreahsing, there was not a single grunt to be heard (heard not infrequently in other hotels on our trip) and check out staff. Efficent, warm welcoming and the decor in the rooms nad lobby was bright and cheerful.

Excellent hotel, clean, pet friendly, wonderful breakfast, flavorful and with lots of variety. Very affordable, staff was very friendly. Lobby very welcoming with cookies and water and coffee. Nice greenspace for dogs. Convenient location while traveling thru Pennsylvania.

I am writing this review because I was very impressed and amazed with the Staff at this hotel. While growing up my mother worked for the Hilton company on and off for as long as I can remember. I Had a lot of my birthdays in hotels and have fond memories of those times, so to this day I enjoy going whenever I'm looking for a small getaway and a nice change of pace. The hotels are always nice, but I've never felt compelled to leave a review. We arrived a bit later than the normal check-in, and the young lady working the front desk was one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. She asked which floor we would prefer and we were able to get exactly what we were looking for. Once we made it upstairs we walked into a small room which was the architects' fault and not the staff XD. It was clean, nice, and well-prepared as all the rooms I've stayed in usually are. It had a nice view of the field in the back, and everything in the room worked properly as it was meant to nothing broken and nothing needing adjusting. Aside from waking the next morning because of an Alarm set by the previous occupants we slept well and had a wonderful first night. At breakfast, the morning staff were actively ensuring that everything was stocked. They made sure to ask that every guest present at breakfast was enjoying their meals and asked if anyone needed anything. It truly felt more like we had gone to a restaurant for breakfast instead of eating the regular familiar hotel breakfast. We left that evening to go do a few things and had a nice day out then when we came back we realized that the housekeepers had cleaned and straightened up our room. At every hotel I have stayed at before in recent years this is not something that usually happens as we are always marked as a stayover. This was probably one of the most refreshing things to experience after a long day out. We had also asked for a late checkout and the gentleman at the front desk was very kind and allowed me to request 12:30 despite 12 being the usual latest I've ever been told we could check out. The next morning we enjoyed another excellent breakfast with fantastic service and the only issue that came up during the stay was the fact that our normal room keys no longer worked :/ thankfully I had my digital key though and we didn't have to go back down to reactivate them. There was not much to complain about aside from that fact. My best friend and I had a wonderful experience and would love to come back again to this location. The staff was friendly and helpful and exceeded all expectations. I believe that the General and District managers should be very proud of their staff at this location and anyone who may be asking for a raise deserves one :). Oh and one last Thing. we were on the third floor, and whenever we hit the button to go to the first floor, the elevator would occasionally stop on the second floor when no one had called the elevator and the 2nd button wasn't highlighted. It's a bit spooky and something I'm curious to hear if anyone else has experience.

Finding this Hampton Inn is not as easy as it should be ( our GPS insisted on recommending exit 45 off I-81 when it is off exit 52), but once there all was fine. The room was clean, the front desk service was friendly and attentive, and breakfast was excellent. The freshly cut fruits served at breakfast were really appreciated. The hotel has prepared a detailed and very useful list of local restaurants, and again this service shows that staff and management care about their clients.
