The Sayre Mansion Inn

We are staying at this lovely bed and breakfast over the Memorial Day Weekend. The staff has been wonderful, the room is nice, the breakfast was excellent! So happy with our stay here. The staff is welcoming and extremely friendly. Coffee or tea is available at all times and a snack too! Such a thoughtful way to do business.

The room was old and musty smelling, the bed creaked, the bathroom’s tape was peeling away from wall, the location is awful due to the fact it’s right on two busy intersections. Truck traffic all night . I don’t get these wonderful reviews because it certainly isn’t a Hallmark movie B&B. Forget the free breakfast, they have 5 tables so you would have to be seated by the crack of dawn. Don’t be fooled by the pics posted on their website. Perhaps the other rooms are a bit better but they were certainly larger than the shoebox size room 22 that we stayed in. I seriously feel that we were put in that dingy room because we went through Booking.com. This was a first time B&B for us and this place is the last with its nursing home feel. We could not even get our breakfast , no available tables😕

What a beautiful and charming hotel…with excellent amenities and service. Each innkeeper on duty was efficient and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Appreciated that coffee and snacks always available. Loved that our first floor room had private exit to parking lot. Only downside was a bit of kitchen noise at about 6:30 am

Absolute gem! This was our 2nd stay here and we are already planning our next. The mansion itself is beautiful but the atmosphere and gorgeous rooms make it exceptional. The staff is also incredibly accommodating and helpful. We stayed here this past spring for the first time and attended a wonderful murder mystery event, and decided we needed to come back. I had contacted the hotel a few months back, asking for some ideas of things. I could surprise my husband (it was his birthday) with this trip. They immediately emailed me back with numerous suggestions and ultimately helped me plan the entire escape. They also included balloons in our room and the most delicious decorated chocolate cake ever. The location is fantastic. Just over the bridge and walkable pretty much everywhere and for further trips - Ubers are plentiful. They offer a coffee and tea station in the foyer - you can relax in the sitting room or take in the views from the front porch. Breakfast was delicious. And the service was great. Can’t wait to come back!

What a totally joyful stay we had! The history of the Sayre family & home came to life through the knowledgeable staff, which added immensely to our delightful stay. The staff from the groundskeeper to servers at breakfast to the manager, Sarah, were all the height of "What can I do for you?" Stellar service, stellar breakfasts, stellar rooms & accomodations all complemented each other for a perfect stay.
