Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburg Kansas Crossing

We only stayed one night but it was a great experience. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean and the breakfast was really good. The room was mostly clean, aside from a spot on the counter in the bathroom that had some toothpaste on it, but I just cleaned it myself and didn’t worry about it. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

I made a non-refundable reservation for a suite a month ago because I had a wedding to attend and needed a place to get ready beforehand. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was frustrating. I assumed check-in was at 3 PM, but when I tried to check in electronically that morning, I noticed it wasn’t until 4 PM. Since I had to be at the wedding rehearsal at 4, I called the front desk at 9 AM and spoke to Ashley, explaining my situation. She said she couldn’t guarantee an early check-in but would “see what she could do.” When I arrived at 3:30 PM, other guests were checking in, but I was told my room wasn’t ready because it hadn’t been serviced yet. Ashley had not communicated anything to the staff or left a note about my earlier request. I was offered no solution except to wait. I asked for a different room, but since I booked a non-refundable rate through Hilton’s website, they claimed they couldn’t accommodate the change. The manager eventually cleaned the room themselves, and I was finally able to check in at 4:10 PM—too late for me to make it to the rehearsal on time. The one saving grace of my stay was the excellent casino staff later that evening. While I’d visit the casino again, I’d definitely look for a different hotel next time.

If you are traveling near Pittsburg Ks for business or pleasure. Hampton Inn Kansas Crossing is the place to stay. Friendly front desk, great rooms for the value, excellent breakfast and if you like to gamble the casino is connected. Don’t pass up the jewel in Pittsburg Ks.

The hotel when we first started going was great. But rooms are starting to get run. For a Hilton chain hotel they don't seem to worry about fixing things. Chain on blinds were not even there couldn't even open them bathroom shower door wouldn't close all the way. Second room with this problem. All in all not a great experience this time around.

Last time I stayed here I had nothing but wonderful things to say. Which is why I decided to stop here again on my cross country travels. However this time was a completely different experience. First of all I think $75 for my dog to sleep here with me when I’m paying $125 for me and my husband both is crazy. Make it a deposit if she damaged something then yes take my money but my dog is 7lbs and she slept the entire time. Just so expensive for no reason. Last time our room was immaculate. This time. The sheets hadn’t even been changed from the last guest. There were hairs in the bed and makeup on the pillows. Something spilled all over the ac unit and wall. Dirt and hairs all over the bathroom and shower. Sticky floors. I was just so disappointed after my last stay and the amount of dead bugs in the hallway. Gross. Y’all need better housekeeping. Sad to see this place go from a 10 to 0.
