Stay date: 2025 January Room type: Premier Room, 1 King Bed (landmark) Booking: American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts AMEX FHR Nightly rate with Tax: One Thousand Thirty Three Dollars The Four Seasons and Comcast is still the newest and nicest hotel in Philadelphia. The valet service is attentive and quick. Be advised that the rate is Eight Five dollars a day. The front desk is professional and attentive to guests needs and schedules. Lobby check in is on the 60th floor and there is an express elevator from the ground. The rooms are on the floors below the lobby 59-51. When you arrive you will take the elevator up to 60 and then there is another bank of 3 elevators that you will take down to your room. Floor access is room key activated 24 hours a day. This hotel is very quiet. Even the standard rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. Being so new, the property is still very clean. The hot water in the shower did fluctuate often so you will need to be cautious with the mixer. The bed mattress was new and comfortable. The room lighting was great and easily controlled. In room dining (room service) is very accurate with the timing. FHR included breakfast which was major benefit for the early morning business traveler than cannot wait for the restaurants to open. All staff members were professional and maintained the high standards that Four Seasons is known for. This property acknowledged the AMEX FHR reservation and did not give me any grief for not booking direct with Four Seasons. Tips: 1. Boxed water is readily available at the valet. Stock up at departure and arrival. 2. This is a mid high rise hotel. If you have any issues with stairs keep in mind that if there is a fire alarm and you need to exit the building you will need to go down 60 flights of stairs. You would be surprised how fatiguing that can be and an average person will need about 25 minutes to complete this task. If you have any mobility issues, if there is an emergency event you have to consider how you will exit via the stairwell as the elevators will be shut down.

We returned to the beautiful Four Seasons Philadelphia to celebrate our son's birthday. A warm thanks to Adam for upgrading us to a 1BR Landmark Suite, which was the perfect size for our family. We loved the floor-to-ceiling windows and the stunning views with very comfortable beds. The reception team added a thoughtful touch with a lovely birthday greeting on the windows and a cake for our son. The hotel manager, Salar, warmly greeted us by name, checked in on our stay multiple times, and personally wished our son a happy birthday. Our children loved the infinity pool and had a fantastic time. My husband and I enjoyed the excellent gym facilities each day. The food at both Sky High and Vernick Fish was exceptional. Housekeeping was impeccable, and the entire stay was outstanding. We also appreciated the convenient location, allowing us to walk to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and nearby historical sites. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We were amazed at the beautiful panoramic views at the top of the Comcast Tower, at the Four Seasons hotel in Philadelphia. And we were even more amazed at the incredibly poor service regarding our room. No coffee cups for the coffee maker. No bottle opener. I have called multiple times for these items, but so far, to no avail. Enjoy the restaurant views from the 60th floor, but forget staying here. C.J. Wilmot, Rochester, NY

We just had a one night getaway to celebrate our anniversary at the FS Philly. I have been there many times for drinks before or after an evening work event but this was our first time staying overnight at guests. This hotel and property is nothing short of extraordinary. As someone who doesn’t enjoy heights or elevators, the ride up to the 60th floor lobby in the glass elevator is a little daunting but my husband enjoyed it ha! The hotel does offer an option, if you ask, to ride up in a back service elevator but if you can stomach it the view is worth the ride up! Upon arrival, you are greeted by a gorgeous flower set up and another stunning view. The two women that checked us in were very kind and expedient. The room, a premier landmark room, was clean and fresh, albeit a little small for a rate of 1700 something a night. The bedding at all Four Seasons is the big draw for me though. And another amazing view! The spa, and the hostesses - all amazing. My facial was fine, nothing supremely special but the deep tissue massage with Joslyn was one of the best that I have had. We enjoyed a nice lunch by the pool. Which, again with this theme…had a stunning view! My only complaint with the pool facility is that the water was a little chilly that day, I would imagine it is heated but maybe not. So, that’s the good - this is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. The bad part? The Jean Georges restaurant. What an abomination and disappointing experience. We arrived at 6 pm for our reservation to do the land and sea tasting menu. We left 998 dollars poorer and so disappointed. We would have said something at the restaurant but it was going on 9:30 and after sitting there for 3.5 hours, we didn’t feel like it, frankly. The star of the experience was the sommelier- he was so well informed, interesting, and kind. He was at the top of his game. Our team of servers were also very kind but we couldn’t help but be bummed about the very long wait in between courses. We ended up asking for our dessert to be packed to go bc it was taking so long, which is not what you want at a dinner that costs almost 1k. Now, here’s the worst part…the food itself. I almost can not believe how bad it was. Some of our friends had warned us that it was “overrated” but we wanted to try it and also not have to leave the hotel for a relaxing dinner. The flavors were just off- the diver scallop crudo was overpowered by the top vinegary vingarette; the lobster with passion fruit foam was just wrong on so many levels - texture, taste - but the worst offense was this fish dish I’ll post a picture of. Purple mashed potato should not really even be a thing- it looked like someone threw up on my plate lol. The waygu that I subbed in for an upcharge in lieu of the duck was overcooked, drenched in “a trio of mustard” that overpowered everything and paired with this mind bogging, absolutely disgusting looking radish log. The only real redeeming part of dinner was the bread course - now that was delicious! Unfortunately that is an experience I would be happy not to relive and I’d love to use that 1000 bucks to go somewhere else but alas, I did have a good soft pretzel roll lol. We checked out this morning but before we did had an amazing in room dining experience. We each ordered the Lancaster Breakfast which was more than enough food, well priced, and delicious. I would absolutely recommend visiting this hotel, it’s quite the experience and worth every penny. Just go out to eat :)

I visited Philadelphia for a quick overnight trip to attend a concert with friends. When I realized that my friends were each celebrating major milestones (job promotion and 50th birthday) around the same time as my visit, I decided to cancel my booking at a different hotel so that we could “go big” despite our short time together. I communicated with Four Seasons Philadelphia management in advance, and they were so gracious and helpful. They provided us with a complimentary room upgrade and coordinated a surprise birthday celebration that delighted my friends and was above and beyond what I expected. Our suite, the pool, and the common spaces were all gorgeous. Everyone on staff, from the front door to reception, pastry department, room service and housekeeping, was efficient and helpful. I look forward to visiting again, and plan to stay for a proper trip!
