Motel 6 Carlisle PA Cumberland Valley

Cheryl was a hoot! She was very pleasant at check-in and I'm sure we entertained each other. A light-hearted attitude is perfect after any lengthy drive. My wife LOVED the peace lillies. The room was clean with a plethora of welcoming signage and a form asking for any service or maintenance "opportunities." My wife wondered about that wording, but I look at is as great marketing translating to " What can we do or improve to make your stay more comfortable?"The only issues, which we didn't have a chance to address since we were only there for one night, were in the bathroom and minor. The shower starts to drip as soon as you turn the water on, and the tub is not exactly non-slip. Anyone with balance issues needs to use caution or request an accessible room. The step out of the tub was also deceivingly higher than the step in. To add a note, the water gets warm, so you definitely don't freeze yourself, but it doesn't get anywhere near really hot enough to burn yourself, which can be both good and bad, depending on your point of few. At checkout, Angela was also very pleasant, though we didn't interact with her nearly as long as with Cheryl.

Nice economy motel, decent rooms, friendly staff, recently remodeled, outside is lit up a pretty blue at night! Complimentary water bottles and microwave popcorn in room were a nice touch! The best part for us is that they are very pet friendly and don't penalize you for bringing your furbabies.....no extra charge!! Although it appears that there are some full-time residents there, the area felt relatively safe. Conviently located just off I-81, and there is a great little family style, reasonably priced diner right next door (Moonlight Diner).

We have stayed at five different motels around Carlisle over the years. All are very good; none are perfect. This Motel 6 negatives - low water pressure, room furniture poorly arranged. All the rest is positive, especially the staff, the rabbits, the quick breakfast snacks, their flowers. Location is a major plus.

My first stay in a Motel 6 and was pleasantly surprised on accommodations. Clean and felt safe. Stayed here with my large dog and all went super well. Great area as well for your dog to go for a walk and get a little exercise. Would stay here again.

The motel was very clean. The room had lots of extra amenities that you do not normally get. They had microwave popcorn , two bottles of water. A special towel wrapped up with a dog key chain and biscuit for your dog, no charge for the dog. It was very quiet. The front desk people were very friendly and they had a well stocked coffee and tea station with fresh fruit that you could even use at 5 PM. In the morning it had a waffles, pastries and energy bars. and etc. Highly recommend!
