Overall clean/simple hotel. They are refurbishing right now so 2 floors are closed. The free breakfast is very basic; and they ran out of yogurt … seems pretty basic. Pool is long gone. Close to a few restaurants, try Shannon’s ice cream-very good!

Overnight stay on the way home, staff was great! Our room was a king and very spacious and clean but not laid out well. Three small lamps were all the lighting available and one of those was not close enough to a oYutlet to be plugged in. We are a couple that both wear glasses, have phones, and keep water near but with only one night stand it became a juggling act. There was not any electrical outlets near the bed, all the outlets were at least 5 feet away, making it difficult to charge items. Breakfast is in the LOBBY (?), very limited items, juice bagel, two bites muffins, cold cereal and coffee. No place to sit! The hotel is currently being remodeled so I hope they will address the breakfast area and the poorly laid out rooms. For an overnight stay it was good.

Interesting thing about this hotel. I was told they were in the midst of doing renovations. No evidence that this was going on. I talked to a friend of mine who stay there several back and he got the same story then. It has to be a lot of B.S. the place is completely rundown. The bathroom had evidence of Mold on the shower curtain. The ceiling looks like it could fall down from the humidity. The base boards were loose along the bathroom warped wall. The rug in the bedroom was old and worn. The hallway rugs were filthy. The breakfast was mediocre in options. Staff were as great as they could be working in this establishment. The pillows were good, bed reasonably comfortable and sheets were clean. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was nice and clean, but don't expect breakfast! The property has been sold and waiting for reno. There was No coffee in breakfast room for an hour 7-8 a.m. and only cereal and milk! We were there for business and they used to have wonderful spread for breakfast. We didn't have time to eat elsewhere. The pool was closed and could have been housing aligatorland! Windows so cruddy you couldn't see out. Disappointed.

We did a quick weekend trip. The hotel staff was amazing, super friendly and welcoming from the start. The hotel itself is a little dated however very clean (which to me is more important of the two). Great location we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit, which made it convenient for all the wine and beer tasting. Our only disappointment was the pool was closed and there was no mention of it when we booked. All in all a great trip and we will definitely be back.
