Hampton Inn & Suites Salem OR

Excellent Checkin and breakfast experience. The rooms have more towels than I could ever use. Breakfast was great with lots of options, even gluten free and egg white omelets! Its location is close to the highway but not right on the highway.

9 vehicles including ours were broken into (windows shattered) and one vehicle had a large sum of valuables stolen on New Years Eve in this hotel parking lot. There are NO cameras on the property. Also, homeless would enter and eat the hotel breakfast (for free) and rummaged outside the hotel lobby door in the trash.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. We were in town for the Oregon Ducks vs. Ohio State game. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked perfectly as I like to have the noise of the fan to sleep. Standard continental breakfast was provided. There were other fans staying here for the game as well.

This hotel staff is incredible! They are thorough & go above & beyond. We stay here with our cross country/track team several times a year and have never had a bad experience. It is very clean, and the breakfast is classic. I had a wonderful night of sleep at this hotel!

Check in was easy, and the young lady told me if there weren’t enough extra towels and blankets to just give her a call. There were carts available; the room was exactly as advertised and the snacks they selected were a nice variety; everything was nice and clean and every little detail definitely matters to the members of this hotel! I chose the premium room because the beds looked a bit better- I don’t know if there is a difference from the standard rooms, but the extra little cost was worth the comfort for my Mom! My Mom and I ESPECIALLY loved the 12pm checkout and that breakfast goes until 10am! Sometimes you need a little extra time when you are traveling, and after the last Hampton that charged $50 if we wanted late checkout, this really made us feel like we were being cared for! We will DEFINITELY keep Salem Hampton Inn on our travel list!
