Staypineapple Hotel Rose Downtown Portland

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Rose. Kennedy and his staff ensured we had everything we needed!! Truly accommodating! We love coming to Hotel Rose ❤️ Best beds! My husband and I were able to walk to so many restaurants in close proximity. The staff has some great recommendations. We can’t wait to go back!

Once again, Kennedy and his team knocked it out of the park. From the reservations, to the room, to the service and all the way through to check out we were very pleased with it all. Especially one of the housekeeping staff that greeted us with a huge smile and very pleasant Good Morning to start our day as we were leaving. Our room was ready, the pillows and duvets were amazing as always.... Thank you so much to Kennedy and his team. We are already making plans for a return trip next month!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Rose! The rooms are amazing! The beds are so comfortable and everything is high quality comfort. The staff go above and beyond for their guests and the location is so central to all the happenings in Portland that you don't have to worry about a thing when you are here but enjoying your stay.

Overall, nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. But, I was unaware the heat/air conditioning is seasonal. The boilers were only set to have heat. So you can imagine a texas girl who like to sleep in the cold, ending up being hot. Staff gave me a fan and I opened the windows. This worked pretty well, but I had the added sounds of the trains all night. If being able to have heat and air at the same time doesn't bother you, then you will enjoy the hotel. Also, the bar/kitchen was closed to the season.

As part of an offer through Expedia, we were supposed to get free cocktails with our stay. The restaurant was closed so we couldn't claim them. This wasn’t communicated until we arrived when the woman at the front counter said they charged me a “resort fee” that would normally cover the price of the cocktails but the bar was closed. When I asked if the bar would be open the next day, the woman answered with “Oregon law states that you have to serve food when serving alcohol, and since our chef is out, we can’t serve any alcohol” as if I was supposed to know the chef’s schedule. It also seems like an outdated hotel with a new name. Nothing appears updated. Housekeeping doesn’t clean at all unless you stay for more than 2 nights. My friend asked to have her sheets changed and housekeeping gave her sheets to change them herself. Her window in her car was also broken in the on-site parking lot by some local homeless people.
