Residence Inn Portland Downtown Pearl District

Our visit to the residence Inn Portland Pearl District began with a greeting from Josh the valet, who was awesome! Josh helped us get situated and gave us pointers on places to explore and restaurants to visit for the evening. The hotel itself was very clean and up-to-date and Romeo at the front desk was fantastic as well. Lili in the breakfast area was amazing! The fitness center was clean and new, and well stocked with towels and cleaning wipes. Overall, our visit to the residence, Inn was perfect. Would highly recommend visiting this hotel for the staff, the facilities, and the location.

Nice room layout. Clean, cozy and comfortable 3 night stay for my 17 and 19 year old daughters were there for, to attend a wedding. Breakfast was included with a nice selection to choose from, which was tended by Wanda, who was very warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed seeing her every morning. Although we Uber'd everywhere, Josh at valet was super friendly and attentive, always making sure we we're tended to and in our ride pickups safely. We felt at home away from home despite the cold and rainy weather. The front desk staff were friendly as well. Would definitely stay here again.

We were displaced from our home by flooding and the staff here made our stay away extremely enjoyable. In particular the car valet staff - Josh, Jasmine, and Robert - were extremely helpful and personable. Also, Wanda in the breakfast room was a delightful start to our day. The room was comfortable and the location is great for getting around Portland.

This past month was a difficult medical trip for my family and I. I needed a place that was quiet, safe, and clean, and I certainly got it here at Residence Inn Downtown/Pearl District. The first face you meet is usually Josh, the valet. This guy is the face of the hotel…as friendly and as helpful as they get! He helped me with my wheelchair multiple times, and always has a smile and a good morning for you! There was never a time I didn’t have my car well before I needed it. The staff and the breakfast crew were quick and helpful with any request and the housekeepers were outstanding. Hannah was our favorite as her style reminded us of the super clean hotels we stayed at in Europe, but they were all super helpful and quick. The hotel also has some nice amenities, including the computers, gym, and pool. Easy to order out or check out the local fare too. I will definitely return the next vacation. :)

I would like to give Josh from valet a BIG shout out. His customer service is outstanding. I am always met with a smile, greeting and customized service that makes me feel special. Josh had my car ready and waiting for me every morning by 6:00am without me even having to request. He is simple fantastic!! I travel for work and many of my peers use this location and always talk of Josh and how great he is. Last week in Seattle we had a Division meeting with all leaders and our President of the Division used Josh as an example of great service, spoke to the fact that he is the main reason she comes back to this hotel. I hope this gets back to Josh because he should know how AMAZING he is and that he is an example of excellent service. That keeps people coming back to your hotel. THANK YOU Josh!!
