Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Portland Jantzen Beach an IHG Hotel

We were shocked to get daily room service ... which we appreciated and showed the care this hotel shows for its guests. The hotel had been recently renovated and has that fresh, clean feel and apparence. I definitely would stay at this location again.

On our way back from the Oregon Coast, we decided to stay in Portland one more day and picked this hotel for 1 night. The hotel is going through renovations but you wouldn’t know it as we didn’t hear any work/noise in the morning or evening. We were on the 2nd floor, away from the elevator as I had requested. The room layout was great and very well organized. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. They gave you 2 soft pillows and 2 firmer pillows on each bed (we booked 2 Queens). Bathroom was equipped with decent toiletries and the overall room was clean. The towels and beddings smelled clean. Our view from our room was of the roof but we didn’t care as we were out in downtown Portland all day. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and open until 11pm. When we checked in, the concierge was polite, efficient and let us know they put on a wonderful breakfast. He wasn’t wrong — great choices for breakfast - white egg omelettes, scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, bacon, oatmeal, pancakes and the typical offerings for cold breakfast options. The front desk thanked me for being an IHG member when we checked in and checked out which was a nice gesture. We were quite happywith our 1 night stay. We had stayed in Portland last weekend at a different hotel on Hayden Island and were not totally happy with our stay there which is why we went to the Holiday Inn Express. The kids also preferred this hotel to the first one we were at. We would definitely come back and stay here next time we are in town!

My family stayed here for one night. We arrived around 11:00pm after a long cross-country flight. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and got us checked in very quickly. Our room was large, very clean, and comfortable for our family of four! We felt very safe staying here! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the the morning before we checked out. They had a lot of different types of breakfast foods. The egg white omelets were delicious! My children enjoyed the cinnamon buns!! The woman at the desk during check out was friendly and helpful. If we are ever in the Portland area again, we would definitely stay here!

Clean, modern suites. Excellent service. Close to everything Portland and Vancouver Downtown have to offer, nice mall with a lot of familiar stores. Easy to catch a ride to local attractions. Rooms have been redone with a refreshing modern touch and are very relaxing. Great selection of choices for breakfast and the heated pool and spa hit the spot after a long day of meetings. Sure to make this hotel my choice the next time I am in the Portland/Vancouver area. Thank you

In the middle of a remodel. We had a room on the updated 4 th floor which was very well done. The location is tucked away which is good and bad. Not many restaurants near by. Not really walkable anywhere. There is a target near by. Even after the renovation is complete not sure I would stay due to location
