Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Portland North

We stayed here once before, and it was perfectly fine, but this time we were placed in a "road" side room, which was incredibly loud. The hotel knows this as they put a white noise machine in the rooms facing the freeway, but even with that device, the noise was very unpleasant. We will not being stay here again. And if you choose to stay here, request a room that does not face the freeway, otherwise you might suffer a night of very poor sleep.

Stayed here for 4 nights in a room with 2 beds on a top floor facing front of the hotel. Hotel is in great location, clean, front desk welcoming and professional, bed was comfortable, breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.

This property had everything as brand standard. Titanium elite recognition was good. Gift bag given. Room was good, comfortable beds and everything in working order. Parking was free and had ample spaces available. Location was very convenient to the freeway for ease of driving. Would not hesitate to stay here again if I needed to be in the area or close to the freeway.

Pool was closed and they didn’t update their website to reflect that. I promised the kids a pool so that caused issues. I would have stayed elsewhere. We also left an item in the room by accident. Called and went back a few days later to see if they had it…nope. I know 100% I left it there so either the next person took it or the staff did. Be warned…if you leave something at this hotel it’s gone for good

This was a nice Fairfield, convenient to the highway and close to the airport. Yes there was noise, but none louder than the air conditioner, which was a normal air conditioner. We been in airport hotels where it sounds like planes are landing on the roof, this is not one of those. The staff was really nice and friendly. It’s the standard room with a comfortable bed and the usual Fairfield amenities, nothing too fancy but not too expensive either. The free breakfast was above average for Fairfield. They have some fresh biscuits and sausage gravy, a little quiche thingy, these were an upgrade. We got a good night sleep and hit the road refreshed. That’s exactly what we were looking for.
