Hampton Inn Medford

Room 322, 1 night The good: Clean overall, regular Hampton Inn feel, but on the smaller side. Nice indoor pool, quiet room with a view of another property pool. The bad: We sensed marijuana odor in our room only, hallways were well ventilated, no smell there. Weak shower pressure, and an idiotically placed shower caddy that can cut you if not careful. Advised staff upon checkout that we had the issue of odor in room. Overall a neat little inn, smaller than the usual Hampton Inn, I felt the Hampton Inn in Grants Pass a few minutes north is a better run hotel.

The Hampton Inn -Medford, OR has been our "go to" hotel in the Rogue Valley for many years. We are greeted as friends, and looked after by every member of the staff. Troy has been attentive and helpful. He has great customer care skills. Lynne is another long time employee who checks to make sure we have everything we need to make our stay easy.

I want to send a big thank you Medford Hampton for the exceptional customer service and cleanliness of the hotel first, Then a very special thanks to the Front desk help of Leanne , Troy , Tim , and Theresa they make my stay here so welcome and a home away from home and go out of their way when they don’t have to , if you are so lucky to stay here you will definitely see enjoy your travels !

I've stayed at this property on eight or nine prior occasions. It has always been a nice hotel relative to others in the Hampton Inn line (and still is frankly with a recent remodel). We had a subpar experience while staying here during the check-in, however. Have you ever noticed how hotels keep pushing the check-in time to later in the day? Well true to form, this Hampton has done this. Now the check-in is 4 pm. Not very convenient for most travel, particularly if you're just staying one night. Getting to the point, there were quite a few people waiting in the lobby for the witching hour of 4 pm to arrive so their rooms would be "ready". A related frustration was that there were HOUSEKEEPING STAFF STILL CLEANING ROOMS PAST 5:00 PM. UNACCEPTABLE, Medford Hampton Inn!!! The front desk employee mentioned that they were fully booked the night before. That's great; hire more cleaning staff if your business is so good. In closing, there are two other Hilton properties in Medford and I'd look there before considering this Hampton.

I don't believe I have ever encountered a ruder front desk person than at this hotel. We declined to have the tv fixed because we didn't want to deal with this young man again. The room was fine, except for the TV. The breakfast was tastier than most.
