Hampton Inn Clackamas

Staff was very friendly and competent Room was clean and quiet. The breakfast had a good variety. We give it 5 stars. We had originally booked at a different hotel. We are happy we switched to the Hampton. We will be back next time we visit our family!

A charming hotel with friendly service and colossal Samsung televisions. Susie at the front desk was exceptionally courteous and informative. She even offered me complimentary cookies and bottled water. They bake the cookies here! I will definitely be returning again.

First off, the staff were fabulous. Very kind and accommodating. The hotel itself was just OK. Very clean, but the rooms are small - this is the smallest Hilton-chain room I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in lots of Hiltons. Bathrooms are squeezy with no counter space. The sleeping area (we had 2 beds) small again, scant closet space and tiny desk area (but BIG TV!). The room's AC wasn't well regulated - we were either too warm or too cold. The common areas were all too warm (probably 70-75 degrees...in summer, so over warm). The free breakfast was OK...again, seating area was small for a larger-capacity hotel. Overall, if you are traveling with kids (or not) and don't have big expectations, the hotel will do the job for you.

I had a good experience here. The hotel is on the older side but the front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and the welcome water and cookies were a really nice touch. The surrounding area doesn't feel that safe, so if you are walking around at night use caution. The rooms could use an upgrade but overall my stay was comfortable enough.

Fantastic staff— most of us coming in were disheveled with traumatized dogs and cats and people that had trees on the roof that smashed through their houses and apts, frozen pipes ,burst pipes ,you name it! The staff was amazing, amazingly welcoming, and not at all concerned about how rough we might look or the fact that we’re clutching a pillow from home as though it were a life jacket. The rooms are clean and the bed was good for somebody who just had back surgery. Hallway carpet was really lovely. It was quiet, clean, and sane!! Thanks to the staff that managed to get to work and were probably doing the work of three people the entire week of the ice storm. One young man paid an Uber $80 to get him to work .For the love of God people —tip well because people work hard, and they show up to work and get taxed whether we tip them properly or not.
