SpringHill Suites by Marriott Stillwater

This is a newer hotel, I think 7 years old, with friendly staff and clean facilities. My room had 2 beds, a bathroom with a long sliding door, large walk-in closet, a sitting area with a sofa (trundle bed), desk, and fridge/microwave "kitchenette". Most everything was fine. I had 3 maintenance issues the first day which I reported the next morning and 2/3 were fixed a few hours later. To be nitpicky the glass divider between the desk and bed rattled whenever I was working on my computer on the desk. The rolling office chair had very little padding and slumped forward - quite uncomfortable. The shower stall had peeling areas and rust in the corners, and the sink was shallow and protruded out from the countertop making it awkward (with much spillage of water when washing hands). Breakfast was mostly pre-packaged items with some eggs and sausage. I stuck with the yogurt and cereal or toast and peanut butter. The fitness room had 3 ellipticals and 3 treadmills. There was a rack for weights but oddly enough a bunch were missing. I didn't use the pool. It's in a business area so not really walkable. There's a Walmart across the road but it's a busy divided highway with lots of people doing U-turns. To get to a restaurant you have to drive toward town (unless you count Sonic next to Walmart). There's a Dutch Brothers coffee drive-thru next to hotel. The price was low compared to the value and size of room so definitely recommended as long as you have a car to get places.

It was a very nice place clean, the towels were wonderful the room was spacious. The staff was nice. The breakfast not so good there wasn't much to choose from. The location is in a very very bad spot. And it was a little pricey. And the soap wasn't that great other than that it was nice.

We had an excellent stay. The stay was very relaxed, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel, and will stay here again whenever we stop in Oklahoma City again in the future.

Very friendly staff and a very nice atmosphere. I came here on a trip to Stillwater to see my best friend and I would definitely recommend this place to anybody needing to stay in Stillwater. Room was very nice and had a ton of space. Definitely staying here again.

It’s Christmas Eve and I’m staying in this hotel. I haven’t had my room cleaned not once despite being told two separate times it would be. Was told manager is on vacation and they are short staffed. Then in the middle of the night I go to pee and slip in my bathroom falling aloof hitting my head but allowing my hip to break the fall. Get up right and I’m covered in water. I think the stools have maybe overrun but I haven’t used it all day can back to the room and went straight to bed. Turn on the light and the roof is leaking. Water everywhere. I call the number of the manager Carlos and he is rude. Maybe because it’s Christmas Eve but it’s his job and all his employees don’t seem to want to clean or fix this place. He says he will refund me the stay and I say I’m calling my family to come get me. But then he tells his front desk person he has to complete an investigation when he gets back from vacation. As for me I can’t pee in my hotel room cause it’s continued to leak and flood. Is unsafe and probably soaking the floor below me. But not an issue to the Marriott. The General Manager I spoke to is Carlos and apparently from the reviews he’s pretty bad but being negligent to someone getting hurt at the hotel is a new low.
