La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Shawnee

Beware if you bring your dogs with you, you cannot leave them in your room while you are gone from the room. Otherwise, the room was really clean and the bathroom was very nice! The shower was sooooo nice too, a full walk in shower with a small space to sit if you need to.

Courteous and professional staff, clean rooms and bathrooms.Delicious Continental breakfast, variety of both hot and cold food items, fresh fruit, beverages, and good, hot coffee. Clean premises, inside and out. Close to Shawnee Mall and lots of eateries.

Hotel has been completely remodeled. Very nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling. Pet friendly, pool, good breakfast. Close to a lot of restaurants and the mall. I stay here a couple of times a year. Near interstate 40 so easy access.

The room was in good condition and the view was great. There is a pond on the east side of the hotel it was very pretty. A few problems tho… first off the coffee was worse than I can make at home. Second, the bathrooms don’t have a “vent fan”, which is really weird seen how small the room is. Third the breakfast is “ehh” at best. The heated pool was very nice tho ! Service was friendly as far as for what I seen. Could be a very nice hotel if they stepped up their food and coffee game. Not bad if you don’t mind the details.

Good room for the price. Comfy bed, good staff, decent breakfast, and clean. We had a king suite and wish we had time to enjoy it. Had option of plain or blueberry waffle batter, sausage, scrambled eggs, juices, cereal, and toast. Cost was reasonable for a nice big suite.
