Red Roof Inn Oklahoma Airport I 40 W Fairgrounds

It’s conveniently located right off the highway. This Red Roof is really run down. Worst I’ve stayed in. Our phone in the room didn’t work so we couldn’t call the front desk. Other guests were yelling loudly and profanely the entire night to no avail. There was a Texmex restaurant nearby but was super different to walk to without any pedestrian cross walks. There were many people begging around the area. I don’t recommend this area but if you must, pay a bit more for a safer hotel.

First impression, the parking is horrible. What person of design such an illogical design? The rooms smells like pot. Another place that stinks. The floors have cigarette burns on the floor , which is funny because it’s supposed to be nonsmoking. The floors are in rough condition. It reminds me of third world condition. Whom ever owns this place should be embarrassed. This place should be shut down. If I could give it a lower rating I would.

Loved staying here. Stayed here about a week before moving out of state. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Being on Meridian kind of expected some trouble But other guests were no trouble at all. Really good rates on the rooms. Highly recommend if you need an inexpensive place to stay close to the highway.

Be aware that if you get here early you won't be allowed to wait in the lobby even if you have a reservation. You better wait at the airport or you'll be outside sitting on stairs and waiting in 55 weather if you do not have a car to wait in.

Scam Artists and Drug Users! The lady at the front desk was a tweaker. We reserved online and prepaid. Then she told us we're needed to pay a cash deposit and wouldn't give a receipt. She was high and trying to get our cash for drugs. We told her no and she cancelled our reservation with no refund.
