The quality in the hotels are really bad. Under the blankets there was hair from the previous occupant, meaning they don’t clean their sheets. the water from the tap splashes everywhere, the shower water doesn’t drain out, and even the toilet tissue roll doesn’t go into the holder! Most strange hotel i have been to. They never have extra towels or hand towels to get from the front desk. They give the tiniest bar of soap for washing hands and showering. Watch out!!

The room was dirty, and there were spots one of the beds. There was no refrigerator in the room. The room had a serious ant problem---there were ant everywhere. I would not stay here again. The breakfast was extremely limited. Now, I understand during the pandemic breakfast has been limited, but I've stayed in other Choice hotels that have had much better offerings. This breakfast couldn't even be classified as a continental breakfast. There were a few pieces of sad looking fruit and pre-packaged muffins All of this was in a basket on the front desk. There was no indication if this was indeed the breakfast or not, because it looked like it was for the staff and not the guests. I chose this location because of the convenience to the airport, but I will stay somewhere else next time.

The manager took me to room 216 and said that was the only clean room they had, so I took it. After I took a nap I started to notice things, there was cold air coming in from the HVAC system. When I took a closer look at it I could see daylight coming in from outside and cold wind blowing in. I had to put a towel in the crack to stop the cold air. There was cigarettes ashes on the window sill and other nasty stuff in the window frame. When I sat on the bed I noticed the bedspread was nasty, food on the floor, plastic bag on the smoke detector. I finally couldn't take it anymore so I went down to the front desk and asked for another room when I told Amende what was wrong she told me that she told him not to open the second floor it hasn't been used in a long time. The manager came with me to my original room and I tried to show him where the cold air was coming in and he brushed me off and tired to show me how to use the HVAC system. I even showed him the smoke detector and he said they do that sometimes. We went to the new room and while he was standing there I took a quick look around and the room looked ok but after he left I took a better look and this room was just as bad as the first one. There was fingernail clippings on the floor, marijuana and food on the floor, the toilet was leaking and the floor around it was gross. Room 201 is next to the stairwell. I called Choice Hotels to file a complaint and ask for a full refund the Manager refused to refund me.

We picked this hotel to stay at cause we have an early flight for our vacation and we live an hour away. The hotel is less than an a half mile from the airport. The hotel was not even a quarter full. The room was really clean and the employees were nice.
