Howard Johnson by Wyndham Oklahoma City Airport Fairgrounds

It was a bad experience. The hotel smelled awful, and they charged me a 50 $ deposit that I am not sure if I will ever get back. The area does not look good. Booking.com let me book for 5 people but I was told at the front desk that it is not allowed to have 5 people in the room, like what? I am not sure how this hotel have this high rating. Will definitely not stay again.

The room was very clean, the included breakfast was tasty. The only complaint I have is the strong smell of marijuana coming from a smoking room across the hall from my non-smoking room. Those rooms should be in different wings. I would stay here again but would specifically request a non-smoking room far away from smoking rooms.

The receptionist last Jan.1, 2025 was accommodating and nice. I loved the breakfast and the Howard Johnson hotel vibes. The location is great and very convenient for family travelers. The room is equipped with fridge, microwave, and others a family would need for an overnight stay.

We enjoyed our stay here, as it was great for the price. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is convenient and there are many nearby restaurants. The pet fee was also very reasonable, as well. Honestly, I get tired of places that want to charge me a lot for an older cat that sleeps all the time. It is an older property, but well kept. I would certainly stay here again.

Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our stay. The outside appearance was sketchy. I was a bit worried of the area because a lot of homeless people laying and walking around. Our car wasn't messed with, so that's a plus. The inside of hotel wasn't too bad. It did have a little bit of an odor, but not where it was unbearable. Just a little stale smell. I was thankful to get first floor because my knees can't handle stairs.
