Homewood Suites by Hilton Oklahoma City West

We rented a 2 bedroom suite with a king bed and 2 doubles as we had 5 adults and 2 children and wanted a real bed for everyone. Went to front desk at 11PM to tell them heat in room wasn't working and room was 64. Manager on duty came to room, made adjustments to thermostat and checked temperature from the vents. Asked me to call in 15 minutes if room was no warmer and that he was going to arrange another room for us as the temp coming from the vent was only 82. Waited 15 minutes and temp fluctuated between 64 and 65, called front desk and was told that manager on duty had left but that she would get us 2 rooms as close together as possible. When I went down to get keys I was told we were being given 2 king rooms, and initially told I would owe a balance. I stated that the proboem with the room was not our fault and we would not be paying a balance. Asked her where the rest of our party was supposed to sleep as we had 5 adults and 2 children and was told that there was a pullout in both rooms. Went back to the room to tell the rest of the party at which point my husband went downstairs and asked for a third king room as they were sold out of double rooms and told no. When the problem was not resolved we left the property after midnight and had to find and pay for somewhere else to stay.

This was a last minute booking after hours of searching for a place to stay for the night. First all Phil the front desk employee was very warm and open. He gave me room with a choice of floors and locations. This was a nice gesture. The Breakfast area was one of the nicest I have seen. Breakfast had your normal options of waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, and misc. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was really nice. Workout area had a Peloton bike, elliptical, treadmill, and free weights. The hotel was very warm and the parking lot was well lit. The hotel is very close to many places to eat and did I mention a large outlet shopping center around the corner. Would definitely stay here if in the area again.

This was the second time I stayed at Homewood Suites on Reno In Ok City. I highly recommend this Hotel. It is situated very close to many restaurants and shopping. I found the grounds well kept. The Hotel itself was well presented. The room was clean and functional. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous. The complimentary breakfast was Awesome. This is my go to place for lodging when visiting Oklahoma City. I'll Be Back.

Three stars entirely for the morning experience. Serving started at 6, by 7:30 they were out of fruit. Sad, sad breakfast sandwiches with gray ham and lukewarm eggs, plus truly awful coffee made it a McDonald’s morning. The breakfast server was too busy chatting with the front desk staff to refresh what food there was. Afternoon desk staff was friendlier and helpful. Room was fine, although well-worn with a lumpy couch. Kind of a disappointment for a Hilton property.
