RUN!! COCKROACHES! Bed bugs! Pimps and prostitutes in parking lot. Drug dealers in parking lot. Saw cars that had their windows broken. Hallways smelled like weed. Fire alarm would go off in middle of the night from someone smoking. Rickey was very rude and incompetent. Shane the manager would threaten his own guests and would yell at them. He didn't offer solution for the massive bug problems. Other guests said it's normal for their TV and cable to usually not work. They shut off the water many times. Felt extremely unsafe. Could constantly hear people fighting and yelling. Would constantly see cop cars from my window. Trash everywhere. The heater wouldn't work and when I told them the manager said he will throw me out for complaining too much. The phone doesn't work in the room. The fridge makes weird noises at night. The vent in bathroom makes noises when it's off. Shower water never gets hot and keeps getting cold while you shower. Drains constantly clogged. Cockroaches all over. Bed bugs do bite you because sometimes they forget to clean your room for months. Everyone is cooking so it's full of bugs. Lots of dog poop outside. Their luggage carts have missing wheels so it's very hard to push it. The room itself is outdated and falling apart and looks better in person. Manager has some sort of attitude problem. Asked for refund and manager yelled and said NO Refunds! He said you can get out anytime and don't ever come back. I would give zero stars if I could. The new young lady who started working there is a nice person but Rickey is only nice to his own friends but rude to guests. They advertise weekly room cleaning but they usually skip you for months at a time. Maybe for saying money? Forgot to mention the homeless urinating by the cars in the parking lot.

Overall the room was good and clean. Staff was nice and helpful. One day we did wake up with a bunch of gnats in our room but they went away. Very Strange occurrence. Hotel Staff Rickey was an absolute life saver, would come here again and stay. Was a great place to spend the Holidays.

Great value for longer than a night or weekend. The location (Bethany) I discovered was very central to all parts of Oklahoma City. The kitchen allowed me to prepare /re-heat meals more cost effectively than eating out 3 meals a day. The general manager Lucy made me feel welcomed to Oklahoma and to the property. She is “Extended Stay America!”

My wife and I found the Extended Stay America OKC West to be well run, clean, and safe, and for the money, hard to beat. Leadership comes from the top and It's no different at OKC West. Shane, the General Manager, does a good job of setting the tone and giving the hotel direction. He does his best to ensure that nobody is allowed past the front desk and into the hotel without a pass key. He also pays attention to making sure the inside AND outside of the hotel are clean. There also are designated smoking areas, none of which are close to the entrance to the hotel, which I a non-smoker appreciate. In any business you are only as good as your employees. The staff is very, very good , with not a weak link from top to bottom, starting with Shane’s right hand man Mark, who runs maintenance. From what I have seen, he is capable of fixing pretty much anything that needs to be fixed at the hotel. I have also seen him behind the desk checking people in when the need arises. The hotel is lucky to have him. There are also 3 other individuals whom we would like to acknowledge. First is Alejandro the lead desk clerk. Always quick with a hello, and ready to help if needed, he is an excellent “face of the company”, first person guests see when they first check in. The second acknowledgement is for Ricky, another of the front desk staff. Ricky is always moving, always checking to make sure the grounds are clean and secure, and in general making his presence known so guests feel that there is someone to take care of their needs. Last but not least, is Adrianna. You won’t find a warmer smile or gentler demeanor than hers. She adds a much needed woman’s touch to a male dominated staff All in all we would recommend this hotel to any of our friends or family. It is not The Four Seasons, but it is clean enough, and safe enough, with a price it is hard to beat. Lynda and Phil

Always a helpful and friendly staff. Clean and safe environment. Everything works properly. Comfortable beds. I will say the go carts next door are very loud. If you are the type to go to bed early or a day sleeper, you should request a room on the opposite side of the building.
