Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Clinton

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!! We booked this hotel through Expedia. We were traveling late through Oklahoma and just needed a place to sleep. We booked the room around 10:30 and got to the hotel at 1:45 a.m. It was 2 adults and an 8 year old child in our party. The clerk at the front desk (not friendly at all) gave us a room that had mattresses overturned and spray cans for mold everywhere. Picture attached. When we went back to tell him, he gave us another room that the air conditioner didn't work. The third time, our keys wouldn't work. We went back to the clerk and asked him to just refund us. He did a few things on the computer and said it's done on his end and I just need to check with Expedia in 24-48 hours to see if the refund went through. The place was very sketchy to begin with and it looked like a crack hotel. I didn't feel confident that he did anything so I immediately contacted Expedia when we got back into the car. They contacted Econo Lodge and since it was so late, could not get a hold of the manager. This was Saturday night (early Sunday morning), July 6th/7th, 2024. As of 7-9, Expedia said unfortunately the manager would not issue a refund. We called them today to speak to a manager and spoke to a woman who could not speak English very well and said it was her first day and the manager is not there. This was a terrible experience, especially when you have a family with a small child. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Just value for the money: rather run down property but the price showed it. Took 20 minutes to find our confirmed reservation. Smelly hallways. everything worked as advertised only that staff not really cared. Should have been a warning that few people stayed there.

i stayed for the weekend and not one day did the wifi act right. this is deal breaker for me. bed were soooo broken in i slept on top of my husband all night and the whole hallway smells like smoke, if i ask for non-smoking room i don't want the TWO rooms next to mine to be smoking rooms, dumb.

This is a simple somewhat well-worn hotel, but what value for money. They room was spacious, comfortable bed, Good wifi. Two sinks! And great artwork above the bed. I would definitely stay here again for the price they're charging. The hallway outside my room smelled like smoke, so they must have smoking rooms here.

Had a wonderful stay with my family. Hotel was very clean from the lobby to our room. We stayed in a suite in the 3rd floor everything was clean organized. We had a King bed and a queen pull out bed where my toddler slept. Matress was very comfy. The days we were in Clinton were very cold and rainy but the hotel was nice and warm. Heater in the room worked great! This room was the perfect size for a energy filled toddler to have enough space to play with his toys and watch TV. Another thing I absolutely loved was the Wifi it had great connection, great speed. It allowed me to work from the hotel room.
