We check out and paid double for a much nicer stay. The staff was very friendly though it looked like remodeling and updating was maybe being done

I've stayed at other hotels in Alva and this is a great hotel. Rooms are large and clean. Feel safe here. staff very helpful. Bed was comfortable, bathroom is large and well appointed. no issues at all with staying here.

older hotel run down no elevator breakfast is a joke .wouldn't let my wife or kids stay here only reason i stay here is because of work makes me because of price. The sign has been out 4 months truck parking is a mess if its rains..

Had to get a family member an emergency room for a night or so. As we realized another night would be needed right after check out we called and charged another night. Right around then housekeeping entered the room of my family member who has a degenerative brain disorder and they told them to leave because they don't let tweakers stay at their hotel. Not only highly unprofessional and rude, but caused distress to the family member who was already distressed. Who in fact isn't a drug addict but has Huntingtons Disease. Thanks for that I guess.

The people make the difference. We had some issues with the extra guests and reservations we had made and the manager worked with us to resolve each of them. I can recommend this place for your stay in Alva.
