This hotel is such a great find for people traveling with their dogs. We have three golden retrievers and most hotels allow two dogs with some kind of maximum weight, Iām not sure why so many hotel managers think that smaller dogs are quieter or do less damage. Many hotels charge $50, $75 or more for a dog in a room. No pet fee here! No 2 āsmall dogsā limit! When we checked in, we were greeted by Kimberly. She was fantastic, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was nice, photos on their site represent it well. The hotel has dog water and treat stations. Behind the hotel is a nice fenced city dog park. Breakfast is minimal as at all Aloft hotels but there was a hot food option for a charge, free coffee and a hot cocoa bar. Outdoor pool in a courtyard was not usable in Dec. (I wish it could be used for dogs in the off season!)

I have spent hundreds of evenings at Marriott locations, and while I love the brand - the Aloft in downtown Oklahoma City is truly special. The vibe is vibrant, alive, warm, and engaging. The value is spectacular... and the staff exceptionally hospitable. If you are staying in OKC, this is where you belong. A+ on all accounts. Mark Huckabee

Two night stay at this Aloft hotel. Location is a 5min walk to Bricktown canal. This has a trendy feel and the rooms reflect this. No closet or iron and ironing board. They provide a steamer which worked well. Room has fridge below sink and a safe. Pool was under maintenance during our stay and they were re-furbishing the gym. 6th floor patio floor was dark and deserted in the evening. Breakfast consists of bagels and sandwiches for purchase that look right of a Jimmy Dean ad. Nothing special there. Could hear traffic from 3rd floor room facing 2nd street. Sounded like a garbage truck in the early Friday morning that woke me up several times. Parking was free.

I used this hotel again for a business trip, arrived late, and left early, but the stay was perfect for my needs. The staff, as always, are always very pleasant, and Chandler checked me in super fast. Will use this hotel for all my visits to Oklahoma

So we stayed there as a family. Got two rooms and when we arrived and settled in the kids wanted to go to the pool. In the first 5 mins we realized the sink was clogged and wouldnt drain. Room is very oddly designed with just a big space, small couch table and one chair. Very cold feeling and a TINY tv on a huge wall. This was probably the nicest room they had. Then the toilet seat was so loose you could almost fall off of it. Toilet paper mount wiggly. Just no attempt to have things in working order. After some not so great first impressions we went down to the pool. Got the kids set up out there and realized the pool was greenish. Went to the bar ...which is a cute space and patrons told me the food was good. I cannot confirm. After that my kids came back in after only about 3 minutes and said the water felt slimy...phyically slimy. This is a Marriott property...can't cost more than $200 a month to maintain a pool...this isn't the only bad review about the pool. Not sure why they can't spare the expense as it's my kids favorite thing to do. Bad enough it was super ghetto and was next to a dirty parking garage but to be green and slimy. Just fix the pool.... Time for bed....not sleep..but bed. Hardest bed I've ever been on and the pillows even after being folded twice didn't feel like a pillow. I called for 4 more as my kids needed them too and after an hour just gave up and called back. They just said "they texted them and don't know what happened" But we had to try to sleep. I told the girls the next day at the desk about the pool and they said "yeah"...I could tell it was a manager too which was even more ridiculous. It sounded like "yeah...we know about it and don't care" is exactly what she meant. The hotel was so bad...we left a day early and just drove back to Dallas instead of staying the last night that we paid for. I'd rather burn the money than stay there another night. What a pathetic property. Marriott should be ashamed.
