Hyatt Place Cincinnati Sharonville Convention Center

Upon check in I had to change rooms 3 times before settling on the 3rd room. The first room had bugs in the sink after I ran the water. The sink was also clogged. The second room had a bug on the bed. The third room had a dead bug floating in the toilet. I informed the second front desk attendant (I believe her name was Jasmine) about the bug on the bed and she looked at me as if I annoyed her and did not apologize for the inconvenience. The first front desk attendant was accommodating; however, after the shift change, the evening attendant - Jasmine was not very pleasant. She just gave me a key for another room and sent me on my way. I’ve stayed at this hotel for the past 6-7 years whenever I visit family; however, it has gone downhill tremendously. Pest control is a must - this hotel needs it. The thermostat did hold the correct temperature despite my attempt to reset it several times. The carpet was not vacuumed. The breakfast items were very minimal. There is usually a large variety of food choices. The mattresses need to be replaced, they are very very soft…almost like a very soft flat pillow. Unfortunately, I will have to search for another hotel whenever I am in town to visit family as I will not continue to inconvenience myself by staying at a hotel that needs a deep clean, pest control, new mattresses, updated thermostats and friendlier customer service. I will say that in the past I am usually greeted by men and a few other women at the front desk who have always been nice. I am not sure if those employees are still employed there but they used to be very accommodating and friendly.

The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the ease of checkin was appreciated! We will be back to visit this hotel for our next stay! Thank you to everyone we came into contact with during our stay! It made our travel easier and much more enjoyable!

The staff was extremely accommodating. The entire hotel was very clean, even the pool. The breakfast was delicious and lots of options for different breakfast preferences. I have visited hotels all over the country and this hotel was really special. The hotel made our pre-Christmas vacation Feel like we were staying at our home away from home. Highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Almost like home which means very comfortable. I have a problem with my neck and shoulders and usual require pillows from my sister's bed too but this time I managed with just my 4. I also like plenty of towels and that was also an ample supply of nice fluffy towels. Overall I would definitely consider another visit.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. I've stayed at nicer Super 8 motels than this place. The hand towel rack in the bathroom was broken. The toilet paper was thin and cheap and placed poorly. There is no restaurant; only a bar/cafe which only serves sandwiches and fries. Everything has fries. Fries were the only acceptable food in the hotel. I had a brisket sandwich for lunch one day (with fries). Half of the meat on the sandwich was pure fat. There was easily 4 oz. of pure fat on my plate when I was done. GROSS. The cafe staff were diffident at best. Breakfast was horrible and cleaned up by 9:40 when it said it was open until 10. The breakfast staff were downright rude. There are no convenience items like Tylenol. I may need to stay here again for another conference, but I will definitely think about a different hotel even if I have to drive to the conference.
