Holiday Inn Express & Suites Millersburg an IHG Hotel

Stayed here one night while visiting the Amish region for the weekend. This is our second visit down there this past year. The first visit we stayed right in the heart of the Amish area and it was great. This time I decided for us to stay at this property to save some money on the lodging. The hotel itself was a fine property. It was a newish style HI Express. And, the staff last night and this morning were kind and efficient. The room was standard and clean. What we did not like was the location. It was a bit too far removed from the Amish environment and that made us lose the “Amish feeling” of our trip. The property was next to a WalMart and a McDonalds and it just felt too much like back at home. If the rate is good and all you are looking for is a place to rest your head, then it is a fine choice. However, if you want the full Amish trip experience, choose one of the many properties in either Berlin, Walnut Creek, or Sugar Creek.

This was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The best are the most comfortable!! The shower supplies are all dove. Overall, this hotel far surpasses anywhere I’ve ever stayed. I am a boujee hotel goer. Normally, I would not stay at a holiday inn or especially not a holiday inn express. But let me say, this was the best hotel! With the best manager! Super clear in all areas!! Even in the bathroom corners in the room. You know, the space where you try not to look because it’s dirty and gross? This room was so clean you could eat off the floor. I Clorox wiped the remote and the handles, because I always do, but I was completely comfortable walking around barefoot in my room.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Amish country. We booked at the last minute. All of the hotels around the area were completely full. So I tried one more hotel, it was the Holiday Inn in Millersburg, Ohio, we had the best experience. The staff were all so wonderful. We loved meeting the manager Jerry what a wonderful man so kind, helpful,and funny! The hotel was very nice and clean. Thanks to all the staff at the holiday Inn in Millersburg, Oh!!!

I made my reservation using the Holiday Inn App and upon Arrival I was immediately greeted and recognized as a Rewards Member. The employee that checked me in was very accommodating and helpful suggesting restaurants, and points of interest. Check-in was quick and in no time I was in my spacious king room, which was exceptionally clean and well attended. The bed was large and very comfortable which afforded me a good nights sleep. The Wi-Fi was strong and dependable throughout my entire stay. Breakfast was really very good and featured the usual eggs, meat biscuits with juice, coffee, pastries and cereal. The warm cinnamon rolls and the Pancake Machine are always a favorite for me. The breakfast area was clean will attended throughout the advertised hours. The parking lot is well lit and can accommodate passenger cars and vans. Over all I enjoyed my Stay at the Holiday Inn – Millersburg and will stay here again if I find myself back in the area.

We stayed here for one night while in the Amish Country and wish we stayed longer. Rooms were spacious and clean with comfy beds. Breakfast was wonderful! Always love Holiday Inn Cinnamon Rolls. Also has a pool which we didn't get a chance to use. Hopefully we will come back some day
