Wingate by Wyndham Marietta Conference Center

I originally booked 2 hours before showing up. (I know—should have done it sooner) Upon arrival, I should have just turned around and left. It took 25-30 minutes to get the room key, even though I had paid prior to arriving, had a confirmation, an email, and a text. Once finally receiving the key and taking our bags to our room, I realized this place is nothing like they make it seem to be. Rooms are nothing short of absolutely disgusting. Bathroom was dirty. The light in the bathroom did not work. Outlets did not work and those that did, it was almost impossible to get something plugged in. There was…unknown fluids on the bed. The hot tub (I asked if it was working prior to arriving) was drained and taped off. The “arcade” advertised on certain sites is 2 claw machines in Dennys. The bar advertised isn’t open and we were told it might not open again. The soda machines do not work. The elevators smell of stale McDonalds fries. The pool looks really nice though…and the staff is friendly. Save the money. There are multiple hotels on this stretch of road, just pick one. Don’t do what I did— get a room at a trap house hotel just to leave 2 hours later and get another hotel.

Don't stay at this hotel! The room was not as advertised online, the side entrances Did Not lock, so safety concerns, it smelled, and not only was coffe ice cold there was no breakfast as advertised. Although staff was nice, the hotel was Not!

Almost ruined of little getaway. It was nothing like the pictures and none of the amenities listed were there. No continental breakfast, no restaurant, no lounge. The pool was dark and the whirlpool was roped off. The first room they put un in had two broken lights and a smashed bathroom door. The second room had the following: the vanity light over the mirror in the bathroom was out, no inner shower curtain only the cloth one, no safety treads in the bathtub, no vent, the bathroom door would not close, electric plug by the bed was out, missing baseboard, no mattress cover just the fitted sheet, one small wastebasket in the room. The whole building smelled like cigarette smoke and the carpet in our room felt sticky. It was a classic bait and switch.

We knew we were staying at a cheap hotel but it was awful. No bugs that was the only good thing. First we had to call for front desk service after 10 minutes clerk showed up. He put us above the noisy bar. Only 3 cars in the parking lot so I 'm sure it could have been another quiet room. Furniture was missing parts and no stopper in the sink or hot water. We checked out by 8 again we had to call for front desk. No one ever showed up so we left. Wyndham was no help/

Pretty good place overall. Always welcoming place to go. Looking forward to staying again. Its clean and friendly staff and the pool is awesome. Its got a good location right off the highway. 10 out 10 imo. Would recommen to anyone i know or interested in staying.
