Comfort Suites Marietta Parkersburg

Check in was great except for the sign telling us the hot tub was not working. If we wanted to change to another hotel, we could without being charged. As it was late when we checked in, we decided to stay. That was disappointing as we were planning on many outdoor adventures. Sitting in the hot tub after a long day is wonderful for these old bones. Our room was on the first floor as we had requested and, it was very large. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very nice with lots of hot water. It was also very quiet in the room. So comfortable in fact that we missed breakfast both days! I would recommend this hotel. It was clean, the staff were pleasant and parking was abundant. If not for the broken hot tub, I would give it a five star rating.

I was there with my sisters. Once in the hot tub, I noticed staff neglected to stock pool towels. It was around 5:30pm. I went to get towels and slipped on the first step onto the tile. Broke my elbow in two places. Two surgeries later, still zero accountability! Lesson: make sure the staff does their job before it costs you. Mgr. Joe Was very negative and unprofessional.

I just rented 25 rooms (Charter Bus Group) for 2 nights at the Comfort Suites Marietta. Some of our rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable BUT many were not. The carpets were filthy, one room had a dirty sock in the nightstand. One room had fingernail clippings on the counter and one room had nasty stuff on the wall. Then the breakfast the first day was cold and constantly out of food. The toaster didn't work properly, it was pathetic. The second morning was some better. They know how many people will be coming so no excuse for always running out. I have stayed in many Comfort Suites and have always been happy, but this was a terrible experience and when I talked to the manager about it, he just made excuses instead of apologizing. Very disappointed, would never stay there again.

This was a great stay. We had a Queen Suite and it was very spacious. I think the hotel is very safe and comfortable which is very important to me. I would stay here again. I think it was very easy to find, just down the road from the interstate/freeway.

The place is just classy! They had a snack hour in the evening with some really great chocolate chip cookies. They also had Snicker Doodles and Sugar that were good but the Chocolate chip were the best. Rooms were spacious and clean. Located in a good spot in town. Everything you could want at a reasonable price.
