Holiday Inn Express Logan an IHG Hotel

Holiday Inn Express was in a good location. Close to restaurants and nice area to walk at a campground across the road. Breakfast was good with very attentive & friendly workers. Driving to the beautiful trails in the area was a short drive away.

Great place to stay if hiking in Hocking Hills State Park. Lots of good restaurants nearby (walking distance). Very friendly staff - front desk, breakfast person, cleaning ladies. Acknowledged at check in that I was a rewards member. Breakfast was great. Pancake maker with sugar free syrup, dry cereal (Cheerios, Raisin Bran, Froot Loops, Special K with red berries), scrambles eggs, egg omlet, pork and turkey sausage, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, muffins, bagels, toast, bananas, mandarin oranges, white milk and chocolate milk (almond milk upon request), yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, and flavored creamer for coffee. The only complaint I have is there was not any oatmeal or oatmeal packets. There was a steel container for oatmeal along with toppings for oatmeal but there was no oatmeal made. We were there Wednesday through Friday morning and I thought maybe on Friday there might be some oatmeal. Might depend on the amount of guests that are staying if it is worth it to make a batch of oatmeal. There could be oatmeal packets if no oatmeal is made. Beds were comfortable. Room clean. Loved the Dove products as well:) And if you are a stayover and do not have your room cleaned, they will give you 500 points/day on your rewards. There was info on the door handle holders that stated that and I did receive 1000 points for two days not cleaning our room.

My husband is in a wheelchair, so we needed a handicap accessable room. The room and bathroom was very large with plenty of room to maneuver a wheelchair. The staff was exceptional... friendly and attentive. Hot daily breakfast. GREAT STAY

My sister and I stayed here on July 1 and 2. The rooms have clearly been remodeled and are very modern and comfortable with a microwave and small frig. Bathroom contains all amenities. Areas were spotless. The staff were very nice and accommodating despite the problems they were dealing with. BUT: We checked in the evening of July 1. 1. There were no keys available! "The FedEx truck with the keys was late" Never heard of this before. So the poor desk clerk had to leave the desk to let everyone in and out of their rooms. We took turns staying in the room and/or propping open the door, to get our belongings inside. 2. The pool was "undergoing maintenance " the whole time we were there, tho we never saw anyone working on it. 3. We went down to breakfast on 7/2- the breakfast room was boiling hot. The harried service person was trying to deal with a ful hotel full of breakfast guests herself - no coffee, dirty tables, out of many items. 3. When we checked out (thank goodness) at noon, the entire first floor was hot and the temp expected to reach 90+ during the day. Clearly AC broken (all morning?) I believe most HVAC companies have 24 hr service? Seems like something you'd get on right away with a hotel full of guests. So while the rooms have been updated, clearly the rest of the building was not. Great staff but obviously poor management. Would I stay there again? No.

The room was clean and the air conditioner worked We chose this hotel in part because of it having a fitness center, yet the center was under construction. This should have been clear on the website. Also, even by free breakfast standards, this breakfast was poor. The juice and eggs tasted STRONGLY of plastic, we had to discard them. No yogurt. The oatmeal was incredibly watery. Very Poor overall. The television was unusable. No instructions on remote, the casting option did not work, there was no menu on the TV screen to show what shows were on. One could simply go through the channels one by one and hopefully find a program of interest.
