I'll start with the good: the service was okay, front desk agent was nice when we checked in. He did say our room number out loud which I didn't love. The bad: the room wasn't properly cleaned and didn't feel safe. The desk chair in the room had food debris on it, so it clearly wasn't cleaned. A wet wash cloth cleaned it right up, so it wasn't stained. Everything feels old and dingy with chipped paint and outdated fixtures but tbh it's a budget motel so I can't complain. The worst part was that the upper security lock had been tampered with. It looked like someone had tried to break down the door because the lock hardware plate and the actual door trim were damaged. We actually took all of our belongings with us when we left the room and slept with the tv on as added security measures because we didn't feel safe at all.

Frightening Red Roof Inn experience…Our family booked two rooms for two nights. After midnight (!) the first night, there were two phone calls and a loud banging on our door. These were all from the front desk. There was a clerical overbooking error (not our fault). We (especially my girls) were freaked out, and we barely slept the rest of the night. We cancelled the second night, which they did not charge us for. They offered NO compensation for the sleepless first night. We tried to sort it out with the management, but they accused us of blackmail when I said I would have to speak with hotels.com and Red Roof customer relations and leave a review about our entire experience. I explained that I always leave reviews when we have had a very positive or very negative experience. Needless to say, this was a very negative experience. Take it for what you will. Our room was clean, but my daughters’ room had a sticky floor with something in the sink. We will never stay at a Red Roof Inn again. We are still waiting to hear back from Red Roof Inn customer relations, so I can update this review when I learn more. Update (3/10/2025): This was the email response we received. You can judge for yourself. If I could bring down to zero stars, we would. There were a number of issues with the room. The television was on when I arrived in the room and I tried to turn it off and it would automatically turn back on. The sink drain didn't work and the sink has water in it. Light bulbs were either missing or burned out in the light fixtures; the room was dingy. The office chair was tattered. The only positive was the interaction I had with the two employees. Bitterly disappointed with the facility.

I chose average because there was not hot water for a shower,was warm. We had 3 people in our party and only 2 towels and face cloths in the room. Tv remote didn’t work could get tv on with button on tv but could not get volume The coffee was good in the morning

This place is poorly taken care but overall needs improving. Some rooms are updated guess you have to check 2 or 3 like I did. Lol Stayed with my family arrived late so was out of ground rooms was put in queen room that can sleep 2 air conditioner smoked almost caught fire smh. Moved to room with no microwave or cable. Saw them put in new tvs but has non working or poorly working microwaves/fridges. Some rooms air conditioning/fan/heater does not work or smokes and front desk hates changing your room. Parking is also poor . If someone makes a wrong room compliment front desk beats on your door anytime sometimes does not apologize. Owners are sometimes on property and are rude to some guest and can check your room when your not there. Has pool outside but covered. Also has grills outside and breakfast. Pets are allowed. Housekeeping lazy. Once was gave towels from another room that no one used maid thought I wasn't looking. Near great restaurants and shopping all In walking distant. English is poor and once a English speaking Temporary karen who was rude and had a bad attitude volunteer herself work frontdesk. I'm thinking they are Hindi speaking ownership franchise. Housekeeping/ Maid serice speaks little to no English Has Laundry room but doesn't work properly Has Vending with pop and some snacks Doesn't keep extra Laundry at front desk, Doest not supply extra pillows. Says non smoking but has cigarettes filled rooms and linen
