Hampton Inn & Suites Dayton Vandalia

Clean hotel, clean rooms, pleasant staff, great location. After being loyal Hilton guests for years, we have recently started using Airbnb more since after covid. Most Hilton hotels have been so rundown since covid, not only are they not very clean, their service has been really horrible. It was with great trepidation we booked this place and were pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Everything about our visit was top notch. EVERYONE was so friendly & accommodating beginning with our check-in and then breakfast it was a pleasure to stay here. We are Diamond members of Hampton and were treated like royalty. Thank you Dayton Vandalia, we will return.

This is a very nice Hampton Inn located near the interstate. There was a bit of construction at the interstate exit but the road to the hotel was open. Everything was as you would expect at a Hampton Inn. The room was quiet and the breakfast was good. Breakfast area is large and selection was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a great and comfortable one night stay at the Hampton Inn. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the AC ran all night since it was hot out but it was a good temperature all night. The breakfast was tasty and the staff was very friendly. We would stay again if we’re were driving through and stopping.

Stayed here while traveling to see the solar eclipse. Overall there is a lot to like. Mostly clean and relatively quiet. The breakfast isn’t stellar but adequate for a hotel breakfast. Staff were friendly. My only complaint is that the bed was as hard as a rock. I’ve never slept on a bed that hard. We even contemplated pulling out the sofa bed in the hope that it would be more comfortable than that awful bed.
