This place definitely isn’t the Ritz, but if you’re a single guy on the road that can compromise then it might work out for you. I didn’t love it but needed a sleep and a shower and since post covid standards are so low I basically bring my own blankets now. Soon likely towels too. Sad. Anyway I was able to make it work and if I had to I could stay here, but would not like to if other better options are available.

The way this owner responded to my complaint about finding a bug on the mattress under the mattress cover, you’d think this hotel was pristine. Not only was he rude in his response to me through email. His staff was rude, and they spoke in a different language in front of me as if I wasn’t there when I was trying to explain to them the picture that I took of the bug on the mattress which I suspect is a bedbug. Komal told me the picture could be of any bed in any room. Who drives two hours away to plan a bug to get out of paying for a very mediocre hotel? All I wanted to do was sleep. I just got off work. I work for the state. I’m required to be in Columbus two days a week I live in Canton, Ohio. I don’t have the energy nor the intention of staging bugs and lying about it. This place is a joke and it’s a joke because our customer service doesn’t exist they think because they own something that is what makes them and the right they have no idea what customer service is. It’s a shame that whoever oversaw the sale of this hotel to this family didn’t stress to them that they’re in the service industry. They expect families to trust them when they treat people as if they don’t exist at least they did with me. I will never stay at Red Roof Inn because of this ownership.

Awful experience. Upon arriving, there was issues with Expedia being in contact with the hotel. Not the hotels fault, but front desk was asking me to call Expedia while they were on the phone with them to try to figure out the problem. After 20 minutes of waiting in the lobby, we went to our room on the third floor. Elevator was out. The second we got onto the third floor, the temp went up 20 degrees and became humid. We paid for a smoke free room. The room REEKED of smokes. Like someone had just smoked a pack and walked out. We talked to front desk to ask for a different room or just a refund. He showed us a few other rooms that had a weird smell and he said they put air fresheners in to cover the smoke. What happened to smoke free room? After an hour of nonsense, we were essentially begging to just get a refund, even partial because the rooms stunk and the hotel did not meet expectations. I accidently booked a non refundable room. They have no mercy with this. You will not get a refund no matter what if you get non refundable. I understand there’s policies but the rooms were just unbearable. We wanted to contact the manager, but was told she was off even though the front desk person kept calling her, but refused to let us speak with her. We ended up leaving and staying a hotel nearby that was a million times better. I tried calling the hotel when the hotel manager was suppose to be there to speak about this, but naturally got no answer. The pictures for the hotel are extremely deceiving. The rooms are not that nice and bright. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Great over night stop! The gentleman checking us in was great! Super nice. Room was very cleans, super comfortable beds and great pillows! They even lable firm and soft for their guest. Easy on and off for traveling and they allow pets for free! Most definitely will stay here on our trips!

The motel was very clean..staff very nice and professional. We had our rather large dog with us ,they let pets stay for free.Our dog is shy well behaved.It worked out well. Beds were comfy.Great light blocking curtains,close to a major highway,still very quiet.
