The hotel is sort of average. We were told by people who work there that more than 10 cars had been broken into the night before. This appears to be a common event when there are big events in town (we went for OSU graduation.) I would not go back to that hotel or any others in the cloister of hotels by the airport.

I seriously wish I had come to Google to see the reviews here before staying at this Hilton. We were there on 11/28/ 2004 till Dec 1 2024. Breakfast staff was rude, rooms were not up to standard but ok. And yes my car windows were smashed and things stolen from car. I really wish I read these reviews. It’s really a terrible place to be with the family. I was scared the whole time I was there and when my driver side glass was smashed I couldn’t find a replacement. Imagine driving from Ohio to Virginia in the cold with no glass on the driver side door. In this cold weather. I was extremely stressed. The night my car was broken into, there were 60 cars in the area which had the same problem so Safelite could not attend to all of us. It was just a horrible experience. Pls Beware of the hotel. Horrible Horrible place! No words can express the misery. We were there to meet family for Thanksgiving dinner reunion at a family house close by. This was just a terrible nightmare! ( Met Abby and Jessica employees of the hotel. , they ttried to make my stay a bit cheerful. Thank you guys but still a horrible horrible place!) If I could give this hotel less than star I would. Pls guys. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!. I never had any problems with Hilton and this is definitely the last time I will be any Hilton Hotel! This is by far the worst experience ever in my life!

Columbus isn’t a city a planned on going to, but it happened. Just a wonderful location in close proximity to the airport. Reasonable price for a last minute booking. Breakfast was adequate, and the front desk was welcoming. Should I ever need a room in Columbus again this will be atop my list of places to stay!!

We stayed here on the way back from a very long road trip. We were looking forward to a nice, clean place to lay our heads. This is not what we got. The front desk clerk was very terse. He only told us about breakfast. He didn't mention anything about a wifi password. We found out later that we didn't need one. The room was at the very end of the 4th floor. We booked a two-bedroom suite as there were three of us staying for one night. As soon as we walked in, I noticed that there were streaks all over the outside of the microwave, refrigerator and one of the TV's, as if someone had taken a dirty, greasy rag and taken a cursory swipe over them. The ice maker in the freezer looked dirty. When my son walked into his twin bedroom, he found hair all over the shower. His bathroom sink faucet was broken and he had to hold it down to turn it off. The kitchen had very little in the way of cooking utensils. There was only one very small frying pan and several pots. The plates and glasses were covered in dust and dirt and looked like they hadn't been used in years. My husband tried to use the shower, only to discover that the shower head only dribbled water out. When he tried to push down the lever that operates the shower, it got stuck, so it was useless. Someone had cleaned the bathrooms, so they should have noticed these things. I was afraid to ask for another room as it might have been worse. Since it was only for one night, we made do. The ceiling fan in the king bedroom was covered with dust. The bathrooms were clean, as were the linens (as far as we could tell). The entire room smelled very strongly of disinfectant. We were afraid to use the dishwasher thinking it might flood the whole room. When I checked out the next morning, I was not asked how my stay was. I didn't mention any of these things as we had to get on the road to go home. I have stayed in Hilton's before with no issues. For the price we paid to stay here (over $300) I feel that we have been ripped off. A hold of $100 for "incidentals" was placed on my credit card on check in. I was not informed of this when I booked the room. Be sure to have enough room on your credit card when you check in. This hold does come off, but it might take several days. I would not recommend staying here.

As a member of Hilton Honors we have stayed at several Homewood Suites so we decided to try this one near the Columbus Airport. We often travel to Columbus so we were looking at this hotel as our new base but cannot return as we did not feel either safe nor satisfied. I was surprised when I did an online check-in for our four night stay through the Honors' app as I was not given the choice of choosing our room as is normal practice. When we arrived we were put on the 4th (top) floor which later proved an issue. At check-in we were asked to authorize a credit card amount several hundred dollars more than the actual cost. I was told that was to cover any "incidentals". When I asked what those might be I was told "damages". As 80+ year old travelers I was both insulted and concerned whether a hotel that got advance approval for damages was a place that we could safely stay. What kind of hotel is this? During our stay we reported a small problem with our bathroom sink that was never addressed and for two of the four days both of the TV's did not have most channels. I reported that but it took two days to fix. On our last night there we returned at about 9PM to find the elevator not working so two seniors had to walk up to the 4th floor. We thought there must be an additional elevator somewhere in the hotel but when we went to the front desk there was no one working there. Again, not having a person on the front desk does not give seniors a sense of security. Seeing other poor reviews for this hotel here on TripAdvisor I noticed the hotel responds with formulaic responses promising to do better. We suggest that any senior travelers try one of the other airport area hotels.
