I enjoyed the location but that is a double edged sword. The closeness to the highway makes it an easy target for break-ins. Stayed here twice and both times many vehicles were broken into. One time 15 vehicles were broken into. Happens all the time here. If you do not have a vehicle, this hotel is convenient to food and shopping.

Check-in was awful until a gentleman came up to help the guy attempting to spell my name, even with ID and the email confirmation. Mr. Bennie is a shining star for this property. He was wonderful and smiled every time we saw him. I am grateful he was there to help fix the check-in catastrophe. No elevators worked at check-in, but they did both start working during the stay; however, one only had 2 dim lights working. My boss called it the "elevator of doom." Carpet is fraying in the room. Lots of buckets for leaks at entrances. Pool out of order. Milk machine at breakfast out of order. I've stayed at a lot of Hamptons. I'm shocked this one has kept the banner. Outside and the front lobby are very nice, but it goes down hill quickly.

The gentleman checking us in was fantastic! Cordial and funny! So helpful! The remainder of the stay went down hill fast! Pool was closed. One working elevator and it was slow. The sound it made was concerning. The day of check in, we had a full schedule ahead of us. We returned to the hotel late and exhausted. Front desk offered limited snack / beverage options. Soda only Sprite. Snacks were minimal. The coffee bar wasn’t stocked, either. The workout facilities were great. Have to compliment them on that. Breakfast was awful. Food needed refilled. Cutlery was refilled. Guests contd to knock on door to the room where 2 gentleman responsible for maintaining the breakfast were located. They were attentive to fulfill requests, but it was frustrating to watch and participate in continuous reminders…there are no cups, the cereal needs filled, no knives, the butter is out (again), waffle mix is empty, etc etc. Hampton provides shower gel, shampoo and conditioners. We were low and one item was completely empty. 3 requests and 45 min later housekeeping brings a refill bottle. Daytime front desk attendant was not friendly. We stayed in this hotel last spring and it was a completely different experience. Thus why we returned. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

(To the tune of Give Me One Reason) Hotel stay 2/23 - 2/25 🎶 Give me one reason to stay here, But this hotel let me down... Give me one reason to stay here, But everything’s broke all around... Said I don’t want to leave a bad review, But Hampton, you just changed my mind. 🎶 🎶 Baby, I booked my room here, Oh, and I thought it would be fine. You know that I checked in, And regretted it in record time. You can call me picky, But even roaches need some light! 🎶 🎶 The pool was under Reno, And the bathroom wouldn’t flush... The elevator groaned and wheezed, Like it needed life support or such. And that busted window view? A parking lot and some old slush. 🎶 🎶 Give me one reason to stay here, But I’m checkin’ out real fast! Give me one reason to stay here, Before this whole place just collapses! Said I don’t want to leave a one-star, But Hampton, you sure made it last. 🎶 🎶 Baby, just give me one reason, To ever stay here again... Baby, just give me one reason, But I’d rather sleep in my car instead! Said I told you that I hated it, And that’s all I gotta say! 🎶 🚪💨

Everyone at this hotel was so nice and accommodating. Shout out to Vashti (sp), Joy and the man at the front desk whose name I failed to get. Also housekeeping.. All super people. And super people make for a super stay. Ann Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
