Days Inn by Wyndham Columbus Airport

It looks pretty awful outside. Inside, it's not that bad, but it's clearly a family hotel from the 90s that hasn't been updated, renovated or even really maintained. It's got that indoor pool, an on site bar/restaurant or whatever. From days when they thought they'd be crawling with families on vacation...in Columbus...by the airport. For the life of me I don't know why, it's also on a huge plot of land relative to what it needed to be. The bathroom was kinda shabby, the curtains were plastic and cracked, all the fixtures probably need to be replaced, the towels weren't great, the bed was comfortable but had a lot of sink to it. That all makes it sound pretty bad. But it's not. It's just not good, not even as good as it should be. Obviously hotels are expensive to run, so buying LCD TVs for every room is a big investment, mattresses are gonna be expensive. But you just kinda have to otherwise your hotel ends up looking like this. I really couldn't care less about the curtains, but I noticed. The shower worked just fine, it just looked crappy. The room was really spacious, but had bad lighting. Look, I stayed there because the price was pretty good for what I like to pay for a hotel. They had a free airport shuttle. The location was close to a bus stop that I wanted to use to get to an event and it's like 5 mins away from the airport. The room was comfortable, the AC worked, the wifi worked, the shower worked and I was only there for 1 night. So I was totally satisfied. Would I stay here again? Sure if I needed to go for the same event, downtown hotels cost way more. But I wouldn't stay here if I had 4-5 days in Columbus or needed to be downtown multiple days in a row.

So this review is based on my interaction with several members of your hospitality staff. My son and his friends stayed at the Days Inn on the other side of Columbus while in town for state wrestling. My son forgot his bag in my car and he and his friends sent me to this location by accident. So I dropped off his luggage at the wrong Days Inn. The staff held his luggage all day and made sure it was kept safe until he could retrieve it. The front desk manager and all the people I spoke with were so friendly and understanding. That means a lot! My purse was stolen that day, so I couldn’t tip them. 😩 Thank you for your kindness.

Unclean, not safe & smelled like weed!!! Wouldn’t stay for free. Staff doesn’t care, rooms are a mess. Mold, broken fixtures, nasty toilet seats. Place needs to be shut down honestly. We had to go buy candles for the 3 days we spent there. Absolutely nuts.

The place needs a remodel. Mold in bathtub, dirty floors, tv was fuzzy. I wasted my points plus 66 dollars. Internet was bad but he did tell me they were up grading. I enjoy staying in different places but this one i won't return to. I fly out all the time from Columbus.

Great Value. Some minor issues but nothing that would make me change my mind about coming there! GREAT Front desk staff! Airport shuttle is prompt, reliable, and drivers are safe and good drivers. I feel very comfortable and am warmly welcomed!
