Hampton Inn & Suites Chillicothe

April 19, 2025 I checked in at 6pm. I got this super tiny room that was humid. I turned on the ac. I looked for any local information of restaurants near, etc. NO info anywhere. I started getting ill and very hot, looked at ac temp had increased 4 degrees. I went to the bathroom, the TP was like grit paper and thin, you could see thru it, with half sheets, and 1/8 of roll left. One tiny bar of soap at the sink. The bed linen was completely wrinkled, TV volume didn't work, and had to use CC, and called room service, told them AC did not work. They had me move to same size cell..same tp grit paper, same tv volume issue, same wrinkled linen issues, same 1 bar soap. No info in that room. The first room I paid 175, moving they took off $16 making it 159 for one person one night in a small cell. Breakfast, toaster didn't work and would pop up and burnt toast. The lady at the desk was nice, but at this price, shouldn't you have ac, soft tp, clean fresh unwrinkled linen, soap for shower and sink, volume on tv high enough to hear, pamplet or bulletin info about surrounding restaurants avail. for one person at 175 or 159 a night?

Hotel appears to be recently renovated with an attractive lobby and eating area and decent room furnishings. It has a spacious lounge area with fireplace on the second floor, unusual for a Hampton property. Digital key worked well, making for a quick seamless check-in. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with kitchen on the second floor. It had two large screen TVs, full size refrigerator, a decent sofa, comfortable king bed, and wood vinyl flooring which gave it an updated look. Front desk person was very pleasant and called our room after we checked in to make sure everything was good.

First stop of spring break family trip. Not many options on the way to BC to run as father as we can before sleep. Toilet was not clean, the shower drain did not work well. Breakfast is good. The staffs in cafeteria, felting desk are very nice. Most importantly slept well.

This property is about as "upscale" as a Hampton can get, with a fireplace and a very professional staff to welcome you. It's more expensive than other Hilton properties in the area. Apparently there is a very busy truck manufacturer in the area, so it's much in demand during the week. Fortunately for us, we were there on the weekend and had the wonderful pool and hot tub to ourselves. My only regret is that the hot tub was not available until 10AM--rather late, in my experience.

Chose this location due to it being a convenient location to stop during travel. Would I stay again ,probably not. It was clean but the front t desk clerk in the evening not helpful with questions. Didn’t know anything about the heating system or how to access the TV guide.We stayed the night of 11/26/2024.Aldo did not like the bathroom being right next to the bed. Kinda strange to me and the toilet was very unstable needed to be tightened down or something.
