Deer Creek Motel

So out of town I work wanted to stop and get some sleep and find a cheap place it was relatively cheap but it should be a lot cheaper. Get to the room after finding out there is no refunds there is roach powder everywhere on the back of the beds all around the rooms . Floorboards coming off room disgustingly dirty and absolute nightmare. Beds are dirty pillows are horrible bedding is old and torn bathroom is beyond repair stuff spilled everywhere on tables and end tables the absolute worst place I've ever stayed in my life. Even the remote control is disgustingly dirty!!!!

What a literal dump. Don’t let the newly paved parking lot fool you. The housekeepers in this dump are terrible. The only “cleaning” was a towel change & garbage emptied. I had to request for them to sweep. When I made reservations at this place I was told the only room available was a double. I said fine. A few hours later Missy or Misty called me back and says a King room has become available & I can check in anytime. Upon check in I was told no king rooms were available. The guy (I think his name was Kyle) starts complaining about the lack of communication with another employee. Very unprofessional. After given the key to the room, I went through the room. It was disgusting. See Pictures. I went to the front desk several times during my stay to let them know the housekeepers need to do better. I asked to speak to the manager & was told “she might be in tomorrow morning.” Then someone from behind the wall loudly says “give her a form for a refund.” No other options, just a refund. The refund process is fill out a form, it gets sent to the owners I presume, and if approved a check will be sent in the mail. That didn’t help my situation so I stayed. Had the refund process been easier, as I paid with cash, I would’ve been outta there. The one positive here is no bugs in the room.

I cant even explain how disgusting this place is. Horrific smell..dirty sheets..filthy carpet..moldy shower..pissy toilet with broken seat. Loud a/c. The little man who checked us in was just as nasty as the room..dirty smelly and rude. Refused any type of refund and wouldn't even move us to another room. Advertising american owned doesn't give a pass on cleanliness or hospitality. It's amazing this place is still open with the level of disgusting. Low price doesn't have to include filth and bugs. My husband and I will sleep in our car before going back here.

This place is the worst place I've ever visited!! If you can get past the smell I'm sure the bugs will get you!! You name it they have it!! Bedbugs, roaches , flea's ect.and I'm pretty sure if you look hard enough you will find your own brand new species of bugs or rodents!! I was there 5 minutes before I brought all this including pictures to the "manager" Kelly. I say that only because she calls herself that not that she earned that title. She was to busy defending the bugs to help me. Made it perfectly clear that there would not be any refunds what so ever. I eventually just walked out drove across the street paid 5 more dollars for a clean friendly much better room!! Please take my advice and skip Deer Creek motel completely!! More like sh#$ Creek or deer flea motel!!

Booked for a two night stay and when checking in paid on my debit carad. The room was filthy and smelled so badly of mold that after half the nighht we got up and slept in our car. Spent the next night at another hotel up the road. They would not give us our money back! They keep advertising they are 'American Owned' --- wish they'd quit that because though it's great to be an American, this hotel is the worst representtion.
