Residence Inn by Marriott Akron Fairlawn

Stayed here for two nights as part of a trip to Cuyahoga Valley National Park (about 15 minutes away). The hotel is close to the Interstate and countless restaurants, stores, etc. Our king studio suite was located on the 4th floor and had your standard Residence Inn layout. Unfortunately, the room was dated and in need of a touch-up with colors, furniture, carpeting, etc. Aside from this the room was clean and we really enjoy having the kitchen features. The daily breakfast provided new items each morning and the staff in the breakfast area was very kind and helpful. In addition, the GM was very friendly when we briefly spoke to him the lobby. The pool area and outdoor seating area were also nice.

Large well appointed rooms efficiency type. Little store with food, beer, and wine. Great area with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Close to thruway entrance. Nice free breakfast in the morning. Friendly helpful staff and a very clean hotel.

This place is terrible. Clearly management likes the party crowd, it smells of marijuana every night we were there. Front desk people don’t exist. They stay in the back room all the time. If you need more towels, toilet paper or help good luck! Don’t expect refilled or full soap, towels, shampoos either when you arrive. We had half rolls of toilet paper and just one hand soap plus near empty shower supplies. The bed is broken down and uncomfortable.

Friendly convenient clean. Stayed in a king studio on the third floor. April. The air conditioner sounds like an airplane taking off and is right in front of the bed. Yikes. If you like a noise machine at night you will be happy. Rest of hotel is quiet.

This hotel was excellent for my long-term stay. Rooms - clean, spacious, stocked kitchen with cooking supplies and utensils so you can cook yourself. Shower water pressure was great and nice HOT water! Staff - everyone is friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember everyone's names! Breakfast - GREAT! full spread of fruits, cereals, yogurts, eggs, a waffle maker, and the coffee is so good! Location is perfect. Food, shopping, and things to do nearby. Hotel appears solid and never had an issue with hearing my neighbors or people outside or in the halls. Overall, I have nothing negative to say!
