If your on a tight budget this is the place, although a lot of it needs updated suffice to say, it was rather quiet we had a bad storm come through one night I didn't even know, management are friendly, there's a Walmart right next door,Applebee's next door your drive thru's just up the street and a shopping plaza, interstate is right there, there are a few sheriff cars always up and down the main road there, traffic violations basically

This is totally unrelated to the state of the hotel itself. I paid for a two bed room on Expedia. They do not explain on the website for booking this hotel that they take a $100 security deposit for each room. For a person who is scraping by everyday just to get a room by itself, let alone a security deposit is outrageous. I talked to the lady that works at night and she would not help me get a refund back and told me I need to call Expedia. It does not have a number and I can’t hit cancel reservation. It ate up my $70. So before you book at this hotel make sure you have a $100 security deposit.

Real dump filthy most things listed on your site dont exist at this place also your pictures are about ten years old place should be condemned and torn down first room we were giving smoke detector on a shelf no even connected no molding on inside of door no security lock second room band aids on curtains peep hole plugged with toilet paper no hot water in sink as for non smoking only way to get smoke smell out is to tear it down also you need to update your pics and go see for yourself no trained staff key had to be renewed every time you left the room.

This place was ideally situated for watching the eclipse on 4/8-- so three family couples (Pittsburgh, Pensacola, Boston) drove to Akron. We made a reservation more than a month ahead. When we arrived, there was no record of our reservation-- the clerk asked if we'd reserved through Priceline. We had not-- we'd reserved three rooms directly thru the hotel, and had confirmation numbers for all three. The clerk eventually said they had two rooms for us-- and he found a third. We paid $20 for an early checkin to the only room that was ready, and put our bags inside the door; we didn't look around the room. We assumed it was modest but OK. After the eclipse, we went to check in to all the rooms-- and found that one of them had a bed that had clearly been used: stained linens with hairs on them-- NOT OK! We decided that we could not stay there; when we went to tell the clerk that, another customer was also cancelling his reservation because of the condition of the room. There was almost nobody else at the hotel-- for good reason. The clerk said he'd contact his manager and we'd not be charged. BUT WE HAVE BEEN CHARGED-- FOR ALL THREE ROOMS! This has just happened, and we've not yet talked with Red Roof management-- but we're posting this review to warn you: STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL PLACE!

So let start off by telling everyone this is the worst hotel ever. The rooms are dirty I've had to change rooms four times from stuff being broken. They definitely don't change the bedding the sheets pillows and blankets have stains. To top it off you have staff members at the front desk coming to work drunk. Misty is very rude she doesn't have any customer service the only front desk person that is remotely descent is Hailey. I stayed for a while never having clean towels or wash clothes or toilet paper Everytime I asked they were out and proceeded to get smart with me and my kids. They also are letting people stay for free giving them rooms and not charging them. There is lack of any organization in this hotel constant drug users and prostitutes in and out all the time. Also I've been getting bit in my room for several days and they will not allow me to change rooms.
