Hueston Woods Lodge & Conference Center

Beautiful lodge with views of the Lake. Must stay in a lake facing room. The lobby is spacious, views of the lake, game arcade and plenty of seating to enjoy with friends and family. There are restaurants, cafes and gift shop onsite. There are cabins as well.

Environment; amazing, awesome, very festive & beautifully decorated. Staff; most are about themselves,& not about assisting in making sure that the visitors visit is an enjoyable experience, especially the lady working in gift shop, not a word to anyone entering, just @ checkout, then you felt like you were bothering her, for her to have to get up & perform her job duties. Arcade room prices were a little on the high side, but seemed like kids were having fun. Fireplace area was very relaxing, and enjoyable, as was the bar area.

Absolutely incredible! The decorations for Christmas were almost completed when we arrived. Stunning! Every nook & cranny is lit up and beautiful with roaring, stone fireplaces on two floors and deep leather couches to cozy up. The indoor, old-school pool (not a postage stamp full of kids, but a nine-foot deep playground with plenty of room) is fantastic! Yet the best part is the pub with a bartender (the food & bev manager) who makes craft-cocktails like works of art. Fabulous! We cannot wait to sample the diningroom breakfast in the morning. Rooms are uber-clean and huge with balconies. I will be back to this place for certain. Repeatedly.

The lodge and the grounds are beautiful. There are so many area to sit and read, enjoy a cup of coffee, or converse with friends while enjoying the views of the lake. This is a perfect place for a romantic weekend or a reunion with family or friends.

The staff was exllent bedding very nice, s.okehouse not so much, we ate on paper plates and was charged a 3% re overtime fee. Carpets in .y room was filthy. Very restful on third floor. They were fixing a production of the renovations. .y cousin who had flown in f t om Sweden to hold service for my 95 year old father was not allowed to enter. I hand to walk down 3 flights of steps new hip replacement I that was rather inconvenience . I was shushed when one floor down. I am 70 p l ea d e. The pool manager was a gem . I was there for one week. Many wonderful things. I wish they had shampooed the carpets in the rooms not just the hallways and lobby for taping
