Residence Inn by Marriott Cleveland Beachwood

Admittedly I was hesitant to stay here because of the recent reviews, but we kept our reservation because we wanted a 2-bedroom suite. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the suite, the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast in the morning. The room was a bit dated, but definitely clean.

Convenient location, close to lots of food and shopping and the highway. The rooms are large and provide a lot of amenities (full stocked kitchen, spacious living room, big bathrooms, etc) . Lots of parking, big breakfast area (not a lot of choices, but still good), and nice outdoor rec area with pool and fire pit. Outdated furnishings, carpet, and the windows are dingy, but overall for the convenience of having a kitchen and great location, very worth it.

The hotel is just ok at best. Like many other reviews say, the rooms badly need updated. The kitchen cabinets were stained and very dated. The ceiling above the vents was dirty and needed cleaned. The breakfast was so so at best. The pull out couch mattress was stained and pretty gross. I would not recommend this hotel and plan to find other accommodations when returning to Cleveland/Beechwood.

This review goes to the employee Venus very energetic and understanding . Her customer service was top tier I noticed she worked a double at the front desk and still showed professionalism. I will say this hotel is very close to all stadiums in Cleveland Ohio about 20m away with slight traffic.

This place is an absolute dump. I think it may be a homeless shelter or a low income housing project. I see that the prompt is listed for sale and estimated $200k per room for needed renovations, which is an understatement. The kitchen cabinets are literally falling off. Do not stay here.
