Quality Inn Tully I 81

Very lovely hotel, charming style. Rooms are very clean with microwave and refrigerator. Check in was friendly and fast. Very quiet location out of town. There's a Chinese restaurant and Italian 1/4 mile down the room. The breakfast buffet was not good though, very limited and hardly anything to eat, that was a disappointment. They need to offer customers something to eat for breakfast. Other than that, it was overall, good.

Outrageously expensive for the run down state of this hotel. Excessively overpriced. Theft. My suggestion is to drive another 20 minutes and select a better hotel for the same price in Syracuse. Very old. Picture a campsite hotel. Ventilation in the bathroom was extremely loud to the point that you will not turn the bathroom light on in the night if you are sharing the room with someone else. Front desk person who checked us in behaved “hot and cold” telling us that she “already” told us something and still helping with other things. Weird and patronising. No cleaning service at this point in May 2022 is ridiculous. Most hotels now have housekeeping. A very unpleasant experience and I will never stay there again.

Only upon check in was I notified that the rooms were "spontaneously cleaned" during stays by a sign posted in the window. I questioned it with the clerk and they said, yes the room would be cleaned, but maybe not every day. We were charged a daily dog fee, supposedly that a well groomed dog was extra cleaning involved. Never in the four nights was housekeeping done, not even the trash removed, beds made(let alone changed) or a quick vacuum done. Breakfast should just be forgotten if you are serving Twinkies and bananas. Lets be serious. The room was basically cleaned when we arrived. To be a real QUALITY INN, door softeners would prevent the slamming of doors all night long. Sign on front door required masks. Staff wore their masks on chins. Hope this respiratory illness does not enter through the chin.

This hotel has proven to be a life saver during the Covid 19 pandemic. Because they are pet friendly, for a fee, staying here has allowed me to see my family while keeping my distance. The rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious and are well appointed. Though the staff is not particularly friendly they are very accommodating. The location is great right off of I 81 and close to village center. There are services within walking distance as well. Due to pandemic restrictions the breakfast was very basic. I did find the internet a bit of a challenge, but all in all, this was a good choice. 

I have been coming to Tully for 30 years but always stay at my sister's house. This was the first time I stayed at the Quality Inn simply due to social distancing during the Covid 19 pandemic. It provided the perfect opportunity to see my family. I was blown away!! The hotel was comfortable, clean and very spacious and the rooms were well appointed as was the lobby. There was a light breakfast and coffee available for grab and go. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, a special shout out to Andrea for her personal kindness. The hotel took both Cats for a nominal fee! Because there are no exterior entrances I request a ground floor room as close to a door as possible. Nikki gave me the perfect room, it would have been the room I personally would have chosen. I am happy and content to know there is such a great option in Tully should future circumstances call for it!!
